Paisano's Pizzeria (灣仔)

I am usually not a fan of reheated pizza but the pizza in this shop certainly looks delicious and drove me to drop into their store for a try.

I didn't count how many different types of pizza this shop has offered but in my mind it has at least 8 types. To play safe, I ordered one pepperoni and one hawaiian to try. The taste of the pizzas were actually quite good, but of course for those real pizza lovers, "pizza express" certainly offers higher standard pizza. What I can say about this shop is that their pizza can fulfill the desire of most pizza lovers and for $35 dollars, it certainly is a really really good deal for a meal in Wanchai! The atmosphere of the shop is awesome, too! A half open area which people can stand outside have a beer. This place can definitely be developed into a hot spot in Wanchai!

Besides pizza, I saw people order spaghetti as well. But to me, I don't think i will ever give up any of my stomach space for anything but these tempting pizza!

Cooking Mama 360 (沙田)

Popped into this store on a Friday afternoon lunch during my first day of work. The store was full house by the time I got there and we have to wait for 5 minutes in order to get a seat. That's not bad as all restaurants in Shatin are full during lunch time.

The first item caught my attention was the pork rice in stone bowl. As both my colleague and I were starving already, we didn't bother to scan thru the rest of the menu and ordered two pork rice immediately, the rice must be made on order as we have to wait for about 15 minutes before they arrived. The first thing the pork rice caught my attention was that there were lots of chive on top which I don't like. Fortunately my colleague loves chive a lot and so I gave them all to him.

Generally speaking, the stone bowls are awesome. It's kind of like personal self-stir fried rice at the table. It comes out with rice on the bottom and meat on top with a half cooked egg over it all. Then you have to immediately mash and stir everything together or the rice on the bottom will burn. The food stays incredibly hot the whole time you're there and the flavors were authentic. In regards of the beef, I can say it was outstanding, very tender and the sauce was pure delight. It wasn't overly sweet nor overly salty, it had the right amount of seasoning to it. The only complaint I got is that the portion is too small which made me starved late in the afternoon.

麥穗記百年祖傳雲吞麵 (跑馬地)

以前去開跑馬地食雲吞麵印象中只得正斗可以坐得舒舒服服，今晚去完養和探朋友路經這間打正旗號為麥奀長婿理的麵店一於要參拜參拜。

這店炳承麥奀糸的一貫重質不重量的作風。我叫的雲吞麵絕對可以一口把它吃下。麵爽口無比，雖然份量小，卻教我繞樑三日，回味無窮。湯也是用上上乘湯料炮制，我連麵一囗喝清。

下次會來嚐嚐這裡的粥。

Coffee Plus (跑馬地)

老友陳推介的咖啡店，今日終於有機 趁陪阿媽去養和覆診時拜訪拜訪。

時間為下午四時半，除了我和阿媽之外有兩三枱客。我本想嗌件cake加杯咖啡，但店員說賣晒。見menu有banana pancake,心想配latte也不錯，就order個嚟試試。

先來的是咖啡，拉花是簡簡單單的一片葉，雖不怎驚天動地，但不得不讚奶泡打得相當不錯，喝下如絲般順滑。接下送上來的是香蕉pancake，起初還以為是普通的pancake配香蕉上面。來到方發覺是將香蕉釀入pancake內，再配上朱古力sauce上面。就賣相而言巳十分吸引，食完之後更覺要吸這道小吃5分！原來pancake配上香蕉是能產生如此的化學作用。此店以白色作主調，配上紅色沙發，感覺上raw得嚟有點cousy。下次來跑馬地時又多一個聚腳的好地方。

泉章居 (銅鑼灣)

泉章居一向是我跟大夥兒吃飯或跟家人聚天輪的賣飛佛。雖然來過很多次，但寫這裡的食評還是首次。

今次首談的不是這裡的食物質數，而是談所有人最concern但又在食評上最小comment的衛生情況。

老店一向給人的印象是靠好食物留住顧客，衛生水平如厠所一向慘不忍睹，今次我咁啱肚痛所以有幸檢測一下這鋪的衛生水平。進入前我已準備好最壞打算，什麼沒厠紙，嗅氣奔天，我巳ready!

哈！點知一進去完全out of 我的expectation，個厠所重乾淨過我屋企嗰個之餘，重有陣陣花香撲鼻！負責清潔的應記一功。

如厠完畢，我的肚立時進入eating mode。我們三個人order了一個四人餐，三餸一例湯。

近排真的冇乜記性，呢頭飲完呢頭已經唔記得嗰個叫乜湯。But anyway個例湯好夠味，夠火喉，正！湯渣中的節瓜炆得淋中帶爽，而煲湯豬肉加上辣椒豉油則教我未吃主菜已飽肚。

說回主菜，鹽焗雞則永遠是我的必然選擇，雞肉嫩滑，鮮味無比，加上自家制的沙姜汁，不是perfect match 是什麼？豉汁倉魚又是另一鐵膽之選。豉汁咸甜度圴衡，魚則蒸得恰到好處，魚肉剛離骨又不會見血紅色。牛肉炒菜則嫌有點普通，但很有住家風味。

這頓飯飯食得很舒服和開心，食物好食不在話下，價錢又適中，一有機會一定再過嚟幫襯。
