Glad to see another newly opened restaurant in Happy Valley!

Don't remember when was the last time I had Mexican food but somehow when I first seen this shop, I had strong motivation to go in to give it a try.

The shop gave me an impression of clean and cool looking. Since I was already running late for an appointment, I only ordered a burito and taco for take away.The lady in there was very very efficient. She is not only the cashier but also responsible for cooking. The whole process only took her around 7 minutes I guess and the food was well above average

Since I didn't eat the taco, I will only comment on the burrito. I have to admitted that the burrito was in perfect harmony. The carne asada was a little juicy, not dry like most carne asada I have had. However, there were several bits and pieces of tendon. Small hiccup in an otherwise good burrito, I guess.

The rice and beans inside the burrito is usually what I would eat on a plate as side dishes. The rice and beans provided a nice contrast to the meat inside the burrito.I will definitely come back again for another burrito!

Shake'em Buns was my all time favourite burger shop. I still remember there was always a long queue when they first opened in Star Street. They have expanded into Causeway and Central couple years ago but somehow Central store is the only one that is left...

This is actually the first time I visited their Central store. The reason I came here was that I suddenly starved for good burger and realize that Shake'em bun is the only store I liked.

I came here at around 3pm. Surprisingly there was only a few customers inside. Once again I ordered my favourvite Hawaiian surfer girl ?? (burger with pineapple and bacon). As usual, I didn't ordered anything to drink as the burger is juicy enough to keep me away from thirst.

There were only 2 staff at the time I entered the shop. One was concentrated on preparing the burger patties. The other one was the cashier and cook. The time it took them to get my burger was around 7 minutes since I paid? I would say the quality of the burger was still as good as it was the last time I ate them in their already closed Wanchai store. The meat patty was juicy and most importantly tender. The bacon was crunchy and the pineapply was grilled properly. There is nothing I can complain about the burger at all and I believe it is still the number one burger store in Hong KOng. I hope the owner will consider opening more branch store so that I don't have to come up to Central everytime I want to have a good burger.

Al dente has always been my Favourite restaurant not only because of the great taste of food but also because they sell them at a reasonable price. Once again, we decided to come over for a Saturday lunch.

I have been hungered for steak for quite a while and so I ordered a steak with smoked salmon salad. My friend Johnny on the other hand, ordered a lamb chop with caesar salad. Before the starter came, the waiter kindly gave us some bread. I appreciated they gave out the bread for free ; however, the bread's testure was more like muffin and it does not go too well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. My smoked salmon salad was on my expectation. The vegetables were fresh and the smoked salmon was average. Johnny also said that his caesar salad was quite good with just enough mayonaisse sauce which makes it not too heavy.

Later on, our main course arrived. My steak was on my disappointment. I can only taste nothing but smoky flavor.! When asked about Johnny how his lamb was, he said he likes it a lot!

不知有多久沒去過pokka了，今日經開吉之島見到有間就入去試試。

本想食pizza,但原來未夠十一点,只可叫早餐，在menu上看到個set brunch都只係六十多元，抵食，立即去馬落order。大約等了十多分鐘，兩份新鮮早餐立即送上。我叫的太陽蛋火腿漢堡扒餐，太陽蛋煎得晶瑩通透，最like的是蛋黃真的像太陽，且是流心的，實太難能可貴。漢堡扒ok, quite juicy。家明的smoked salmon 也不錯，salmon既鮮又甜，炒蛋也是非常之滑。唯一不like的是個salad賣相很差！

以前去過的茶餐廳總給我一個不乾淨、侍應粗魯的感覺。不過今日到過大坑的龍鳳茶餐廳後，我對茶記的感覺完全改觀。

先說樓面。樓底相當高，進入後完全不覺焗綀。食物方面，我們點了兩客通粉配炒蛋。之前去過跑馬地的祥x，叫了同一樣的食物竟有天壤之比。這裡的炒蛋是即叫即整的，多士厚身加上烘得鬆脆。炒蛋也炒得半生熟，賣相相當靚仔，食落蛋味夠加上夠滑，可以說是無懈可擊。通粉方面無什可評，唯一要讚的是上面有些食落似鮑魚的物體，二十八蚊的價錢認真超值。

順帶一提，這裡的侍應相當友善，跟一般荼記粗聲粗氣的不同。

無聊間逛觀塘，來到了東廣場底下的food court物體，逛了一圈後鎖定了這間叫mealoaf的小店。原因是見他menu上有我想食的risotto。

時值下午3時多，店員忙著處理外賣。我order了一客Parma ham risotto和一碗pumpkin soup，我待了十分鐘後店員送上我的risotto。說真的，risotto的賣相gave me a big shock! 它似乎似粥多過我一向食開的意大利炒飯。食落無味加上炒飯很綿激似白粥。再者，店主真的覺得Parma ham跟炒飯相夾嗎？risotto 的淡是否用來中和Parma ham 的咸？南瓜湯可說中規中擧，畢竟40多元的餐不會expect有真的南瓜茸喝到吧！將貨就價要。可算是不變的定律。

今日shop完ping經過見到這間高級朱古力專門店，一於扮下闊太光顧一下

行到counter先知原來是坐下才落order的，有点𤓓爆。 but anyway, 我和小儀兩人点了一熱一凍朱古力，另加了件raspberry chocolate cake。服務員問我們的朱古力要原味定加点vanilla味，我心諗既然是高檔嘢，老鳯都要試原味。

不消片刻，我們的cake and drinks到來了。見cake賣相相當骨子，食落更見細膩。一層一層的朱古力包著一層一層的紅桑子，食落一苦一甜，紅桑子配朱古力果真是一絕。

回說我的熱朱古力。聞說cocoa content越高朱古力越靚，這裏的應該是用上了cocoa 80%以上的朱古力，喝起來苦中帶甘，可恨我這類草民喝慣一般的平民朱古力，喝了數口已喝不下了。

Popped into this store on a Friday afternoon lunch during my first day of work. The store was full house by the time I got there and we have to wait for 5 minutes in order to get a seat. That's not bad as all restaurants in Shatin are full during lunch time.

The first item caught my attention was the pork rice in stone bowl. As both my colleague and I were starving already, we didn't bother to scan thru the rest of the menu and ordered two pork rice immediately, the rice must be made on order as we have to wait for about 15 minutes before they arrived. The first thing the pork rice caught my attention was that there were lots of chive on top which I don't like. Fortunately my colleague loves chive a lot and so I gave them all to him.

Generally speaking, the stone bowls are awesome. It's kind of like personal self-stir fried rice at the table. It comes out with rice on the bottom and meat on top with a half cooked egg over it all. Then you have to immediately mash and stir everything together or the rice on the bottom will burn. The food stays incredibly hot the whole time you're there and the flavors were authentic. In regards of the beef, I can say it was outstanding, very tender and the sauce was pure delight. It wasn't overly sweet nor overly salty, it had the right amount of seasoning to it. The only complaint I got is that the portion is too small which made me starved late in the afternoon.

Went to church this morning and decided to have a brunch in Happy Valley. I looked up from open rice and decided to give Classified a try.

The shop interior gives me a raw feeling with wooden bench / seat. I like this a lot as it reminds me of the good old days back in Australia in which many cafes were in this style.

I ordered a scramble egg on toast ($36) while my wife ordered an egg benedict ($4x). The price was extremely decent for the portion we got. Just by looking at teh portion of the scramble eggs, I think they have use at least 4 eggs while charging us for only $40. What a bargain! Also, the eggs were extremely creamy meanwhile maintaining the taste of the eggs.
I don't some restaurant which uses lots of cream on the scramble egg which makes the egg tastes creamy but without the taste of the egg!The egg benedict was tasty as well. The hollandise sauce was also creamy with a little bit of sour from the lemon. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly with running eggs inside.Last come my latte. Usually I would not order coffee in this kind of restaurant as they don't care much about the quality of coffee much. However, as I noticed that the coffee bean they used were from Graffeo, a famous roaster from US, I was curious of how the coffee taste like and so I ordered a latte. To my surprise, the foam was frothed perfectly in which a single bubble could not be found. Even I left the coffee on the table for 10 minutes, the foam has no sign of collapse. Regarding the taste, I would say it is much better than the one in those chain store. Sweetness rather than bitterness was first i can taste in my mouth followed by the taste of nutty almond. Now that I know Classified has good coffee, I would definitely pop by more frequently rather than going to the coffee chain store on the opposite side of the street.

看了雜誌報道登龍街的豚如何大排長龍所以特意前來拜訪，豈知沒有開門，見對面街的舞心一樣是主打拉麵又有龍排，一於入去一試。

拉麵賣成八十多元，比起平常食開的貴三、四十元，ok ,就即管試試八十多元的拉麵葫蘆裏賣甚麼藥。除此之外，我還叫了一客餃子，以防拉麵不夠充飢。

全店氣氛尚算不俗，二時多還keep到full house。看到枱旁的雜誌報道才知道此店的老闆是那英，究竟食客是衝著名星效應還是高水準食物質素而來要代食物到來後自有分曉。

不消十多分鐘拉麵與餃子一併而來，食物賣相尚算ok,最教我期待的還是八十多元的拉麵味道如何。一啖二啖過後，開始時是興奮，接著是失落和憤怒。若論麵質與湯料，味千與別府也比這裏要好，除了隻雞蛋比較鮮味有點驚起外，三十元我也嫌貴！
