I don’t recall how many times I have been to Outback this year. But this was actually the first time I came to Outback without ordering any steak!

The reason I love to come to Outback is simple: good environment with quality food at reasonable price. Today, I came here for lunch after went shopping at Jusco with my girlfriend. We both felt that we have too many steaks in here and so we decided to try out for other dishes like pasta and burger.

The burger arrived in around 15minutes. The taste was good but nothing spectacular like the one we had in Shake ‘em Bun which was so juicy that you don’t even need to order any drinks to go along with your meal. The pasta arrived 5 minutes later and the taste was also pretty good. I like pasta which are quite juicy and not too hard and the one I had in here fitted both of my requirement.

In order to celebrate the 1st October, Jenny and I decided to have brunch at Classified right across where she lived.

It was only 11o'clock and the restaurant was already 3/4 full house.

It was probably the first time I go for brunch this year and so I don't really know what to eat. Jenny suggested me to try the egg benedict and she ordered herself a ravioli.

The egg benedict came with nothing but parma ham. The dish looked so plain without and vegetable to garnish but nonetheless, the taste was pretty good. But of course, if they charged me for like 90 dollars (with service charge) I expect the portion to be a little bigger or at least comes with some sides items like salad.

 
Jenny gave me some of her ravioli for sharing. The sauce was similar to the hollandise sauce I had for my egg benedict and the taste was pretty good either.

 
Overall speaking, the environment and the food in this place were above standard except that I found the price was a little bit expensive.

看見open rice上清一色好評果然不是名不附實。其實這店我已來過多次,每次的食物質數也有一定水準。

今次我叫了碟咖哩雞配傳統的印度烤包。

印度咖哩果真非同凡享。咖哩特別香,特別濃。雞肉啖啖肉得嚟又夠juicy,認真very good。

榮少從星加坡訪港,進駐crown plaza。是日榮幸獲邀到其酒店頂樓的panini club共進tea。

 

 
這裏下午提供清一色panini set跟湯及salad,我点了個chicken panini而榮少則点了salmon panini。panini用上ciabetta做包,感覺上俾一般用上意大利香草包然後壓得扁扁的大方。我的雞肉panini略嚴雞肉味道清淡一點,可能是不想搶走整個三文治的味道啩。事實上,外國人是偏好味道清淡一點的食物。

 

 
個set有餐湯或salad,我同榮少一人点一樣方便share嚟食。個湯是南瓜湯,味道一般啦,在酒店我可是expect高一点質數的。沙律就似樣了,內裏夾雜着不同種類的生菜配上獨門dressing,冇得彈。

今晚又兩支弓去老銅食飯。其實好多地方都食過,有點悶,所以大蚊提議去黃金廣場試試看。

入到去唔知食乜好,所以就揀了豚組貪佢食豬扒夠穩陣。我点了炸極黑豬,而大蚊就揀了炸蘋果豬扒。

不消一會,我們的豬扒就送到了。我落了梅汁落生菜裏,滿心歡喜地送進咀裏。梅汁比我以往食開的酸,冇乜胃口的人食佐當堂醒胃。shocked

極黑豬第一啖食落口都ok嘅,可能之前個口酸氣重係個口腔度陪迴,第二三口就見真章。其實如果要分開評論件豬扒,面嗰塊友係ok㗎,但如果大家好似我咁挑起塊皮剩係食入面塊肉,你就會發覺舊肉好似完全冇調味過,一丁點味道也沒有。我食了兩啖後都唔知應唔應該為了肚餓而繼續難為自己繼續食落去。

反之,大蚊話佢嗰件蘋果豬扒ok喎,但我自己就覺得味道怪怪。
