Before I went to this place, I have already prepared for paying a premium for the decoration and the view of this restaurant. However, to my surprise, I can't believe the service and the way of cooking at this restaurant which totally ruined the food !!!

We have ordered the following on that night:

鱸魚刺身sea bass sashimi (480$)

Maybe I was pampered at other Japanese restaurant, or setting too high expectation with this restsurant, when this dish arrived at my table, I was amazed with the portion! 4-5 pieces of sashimi ... And the quality of the fish is just so so that you can tell it's not really that fresh ... After having this dish, I told myself - I won't order this at here again!

2) 黑毛和牛teppanyaki set and 黑毛和牛sukiyaki Set (around $2000 for each set)

First of all, when they presented the sashimi appetiser, I'm dsoapponted coz they served us with Salmon sashimi , which makes me feel like it's not a real Japanese restaurant ... It's a bit tailored to a Hong Kong style ... 

The most important of all, I want to say -- the way they cook the sukiyaki set is a disaster!!! They ruined my Wagyu beef and ruin all ingredients!!! And ruined my appetite!!  The sauce was extremely salty and actually after I finished the sukiyaki, my lips are just dehydrated with wrinkles!!! 咸到個嘴皺皮

But there's one point that I want to mention here -- as they prepare the sukiyaki in front of me, I observed that they processed the food in an inappropriate order (the appropriate order shd be heat the wok and then heat the cow fat, then cook the onion and chives first then pour sugar with little sauce, then cook the beef.. ).. (One of the best restaurant processes sukiyaki, I would say is Hana... ) the order in preparing sukiyaki is very important or else you just ruin the food if you cook it in a Hong Kong hot pot style ...

Well, the Wagyu teppanyaki tastes okay ... And the quality of the beef is good ....

3) beer and 螢光魷魚漬

I regret ordering the beer here and I can't finish it either coz it tastes bitter ...

For 螢光魷魚, I need to rush the waiter several times to serve me this ..

After this dinner, I changed my thoughts.. I told myself-- I will never pay such a premium for this place for dinner ... Maybe I will give them a second chance for lunch sets ...

平日於大坑晚飯過後，必定會在同區找地方吃甜品。但是近年大坑糖水鋪沒那間令我感到滿意，直到遇上此店...

今日跟友人發現這間開業不到2個月的小店，（因其位置比較不顯眼）...我想以後這地方必定成為我日後飯后甜點的地方吧！

- 士多啤梨冰/汁
Actually this glass of fruit juice makes me think of the taste that I had in Seoul, I would say it is 100% strawberry with nearly no scrup and it tastes soooooo strawberry and fruity and juicy!! I feel like as if I'm sipping a box of strawberry in my mouth! If you are a fans of strawberry, you shdnt miss it!! (I would say here they have the best fruit juice in town!!!)

楊枝甘露

Aw .... Again ... It is full of mango and mango juice and pomelo (the quality of mango is ... Superb!!) and the texture of sago is crispy that makes you feel like this dessert is a bit refreshing!!! 

千層mango pancake 
When I ordered it, actually I'm a bit worrying. From my experience in other places, many pancakes are cooked like too damp or with no egg flavour ... But this one, it makes me recall my dessert experience in Seoul at Queen's Park ( the favourite dessert place for Girls Generation in Korea)... The pancake with strong smell of egg and even the decorative chocolate ... It tastes awfully smooth 滑 and not sweet at all ( can tell it's not made by cheap ingredients).. And you can found  some mango slices in layers ... Yummy !

Definitely I will come and try the rest of desserts like 綿花冰and 石鍋烏冬。

PS: people in the shop are very nice too... Especially if you are a dog lover!!!!

I learnt this restaurant from a foodie magazine and I have made reservation in advance! 

The chief chef and the waiters in the restaurant are all very nice!! The guy who is cooking oysters for us is Watanabi! He's nice and funny!

Basically this is a very bargaining dinner, in particular the 498 dinner set! The sashimi is very fresh and basically you don't need to eat it with any soy sauce! 

One thing to clarify -- all seafood are sourced from Japan including the urchin ... 

The chief chef is so nice and he gave us 3 freebies too !!
