Another very local-style coffee shop. In other words - they have paid so much attention to the atmosphere, the music, the interiors and creating a interesting and cute vibe that they’ve neglected the most important thing: the quality of food and coffee. The long black/americano coffee was sour and the waffle - well, the waffle was simply not good. They tried hard by making the waffle in the shape of coffee beans. But frankly, who cares how it looks if it doesn’t taste good?! And what’s with always going up to the counter and ordering? So many places just aren’t willing to have table service anymore. What’s the matter, too cheap to pay a waiter? There’s just such a glut of these cutesy-type coffee shops in Hong Kong that it’s becoming boring.

It was freezing when I entered and I had to ask them to ten the AC down.

I ordered the All-Day Breakfast. It comes with ham - like a Chinese breakfast, so I suppose it's a take on that. The pancakes, sausage and ham were all tasteless. The best thing about the fish was the salad - and that was meager and mediocre.

I wanted a latte to end my meal, but "no dice". They only do "filter coffee".

I don't think this place will last long. They don't seem to do anything well and the prices don't reflect the quality.

I ordered the Home-style Lemonade, Crab and Avo Salad, Banana Hazelnut Brûlée Crêpe Cake and a latté for late lunch. 

The salad was very fresh - lots of crab but not so much avo. Was also smaller than I though it'd  be. 

The lemonade was excellent - refreshing and not too sweet. 

The crepe cake is such a till isn't idea. I adore crêpes and I managed to have the last one. Problem was that is was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. I hate that. Maybe I should come early in the morning next time. Apparently it's made frsh everyday at 10am. 

The latté was great. Creamy and the beans weren't burnt. 

Overall - a pretty good experience.

Just two of us, so we didn't have to wait. The restaurant was empty. I hate that. It always makes me think the food is gonna be bad.

So, we ordered the set menu. Some of the food was not bad. But then the curry came. Worst curry I have ever eaten, Thai or not. Watery and just bad.

Also, the fresh coconut cake jelly was terrible. You could bounce it off the walls.
