Visited Louise a while ago for my friend’s birthday. Nothing really special. Beef tartare is soso. And the pate was really disappointing. The duck was the best among all the dishes. And luckily the dessert saved the whole meal! Maybe will try the signature roasted chicken if there’s a next visit. Amuse Bouche The dining atmosphere is great! Just hope all the food was as great as the atmosphere

Always walk pass this small thai restaurant. Finally pop in as I needed a quick meal before home. I am a big fan of thai boat noodles. The broth is the most essential part of the whole dish. And do love thai thick chewy noodles. I have ordered a regular size of Beef Boat Noodles, with my favourite flat chewy noodles. The broth is rich! Beef, beef brisket and beef balls are all tasty. It’s a simple good boat noodles! Have also my favourite thai dish Raw Prawn! Appreciate the portion is small for 1 person. But i prefer the tradition raw prawn sauce (with coriander) to go with it. Overall, it’s a pretty good choice for a quick meal!

I always if there’s a proper cafe here in the island would be perfect. And yay! We got one finally! Love this spot with an amazing view of the Tsing Ma Bridge. Quiet atmosphere on weekdays. Good place to read a book! Oat milk cafe latte is my usual. But i love their iced banana latte. I guess they used the korean banana milk. And the caramelized banana is delicious. Definitely a good choice for summer time. And of course they do a good job on my usual - oat milk caffe latte

Happy to see more new restaurants in the island. Always great to walk around in “my island” in my day off Had tried the Hainanese Chicken Rice. Nothing special and definitely not the best I had. But heard their boat noodles are quite good so I tried the boat noodles with beef this time. The soup is quite rich. Love they have the deep fried pig skin as garnish. Very generous amount with lot of beef and meat balls. A pretty decant bowl of boat noodles. I do wish they had some other choices of noodles. Personally my favourite is the flat noodles. Also i wish there’s another favourite Thai food - Raw Prawns! I hope my dream will come true one day

Was so impressed by the pasta last time! Looking forward what dishes I will have this time! And heard they have a new dish roasted local yellow chicken! Already very excited before arriving Locanda! There’s a great selection of wine. Can always find something you prefer. We had ham platter to start. Then the first starter is Asparagus, slow cooked egg, celtuse and ham on top, serve with a sauce made with asparagus. This is a plate with all my favourite food! Asparagus is super well cooked. The egg add a silky smooth texture. And celtuse! I love this veg and happy to see more and more western restaurants using celtuse. Porcini soup, topped with mozzarella, potato. I love creamy soup! No one can stand the fragrance of porcini. Still remember I was so overwhelming (in a good way) by the seafood pasta last time. This pasta is cooked with local clams, Japanese Tuatua, with parsley potato sauce. Pasta is al denté!!!! Clams are so sweet and fresh! I think i can have another plate of this! Pasta here never let me down! And final main course, is the roasted local yellow chicken I want to try. The chicken is so juicy, moist and tender. Chicken skin is so crispy! Was talking to my friends about the French Toast at LPM and… surprise!! Didn’t expect chef will prepare french toast for us. Warm toast, crispy outside. And they must have soaked the toast in the egg for sufficient time. This dessert makes me happy Great wine, great food! Happy me! And i guess one of my friend was a bit drunk! Perfect lunch

Easy, happy, great meal always in Pici. The one in Central is always my choice. Staffs are so welcoming every time. Lunch is such a good deal in Soho area. We picked the burrata and the veal for starter. I am a big fan of burrata! Can’t get bored of it Handmade pasta is always better! Cook al denté . I always pick something with truffle and something with seafood. Can’t go wrong with these. Their tiramisu is always my choice. One of the best Tiramisu. Even my Italian friend loves it! Another great dining in Pici!

You know what the worst thing in an isolation? You miss all those comfort local food in 7 days! The first meal after I was out, is to get some hot, local, noodles. I have been here for few days and really liked their food and the atmosphere. Staffs are friendly and caring. And they put efforts on the menu and food. Ordered a big one, with my fav pig intestine, blood, and wings. Feeling so alive after having a sip of soup… hmmm feeling home! Intestine is really tender and got lot of flavour. Always my favourite.

Nowadays it’s difficult to find a boozy brunch as many restaurants were temporarily closed during this crazy time. My friends really want to have Japanese food. Since I am a bit bored dining at Zuma and Honjo, so I suggest to try the weekend brunch at Kyoto Joe. I think I had 6 or 7 portions of abalone Assorted Sashimi Everything is so fresh! Love the Botan shrimps and scallops so much! We had 2-3 rounds. This is their daily special and one portion for one people. All kinds of sushi rolls Robatayaki They also have the salmon tartar, fried chicken wings and fried shrimp. For main course, I chose wagyu sirloin. So juicy and tender. Dessert is average. But overall is pretty good value with all you can eat and a free flow drinks package. Good environment as you have a great view of IFC. Staffs are all friendly and patient 🤙🏻 Pretty sure I will revisit again!

It’s my friend’s BIG 40th birthday. After the tram party, he said he gave us a surprise for the dinner. (P.S. this is back to October last year). When I saw he lead us to the wet market, I was liked “YES! Are we going to ABC?”. I always hear good things about this restaurant and finally got a chance to try! Woohoo! We had around 16 people. And they prepared a nice corner for us. My friend prepared the menu and the wine! Let’s the party started! It’s amazing they even printed out a menu. Fresh oysters!!! Our table had a 2nd round You know how good they are! Pan seared scallop Scallop is perfectly cooked. The ham add flavour to it. Blue mussels is white wine sauce The sauce is so rich and full of seafood flavour. Delicious! Special dish- pan seared foie gras on toast OMGGGG! Whole area is full of the foie gras fragrance! Creamy, crispy foie gras on warm toast! We had 2 each! So good! Braised beef cheeks Nicely done! Super tender! My friend cleared everything on the plate Roasted Suckling Pig Heard this is their signature dish! Crispy outside and tender inside. Cooked perfectly! Mille Feuille This is my least favourite of the night. Whole MF is a bit loose and not in shape. Taste alright! Definitely an amazing dining experience! Free corkage makes it even better! Can’t wait the dinner service is back so we can all visit again!

Still in my journey to find the omakase who can beat Tenzushi. Tried this famous Michelin Star restaurant from LA/NYC/Bangkok. Sushi Zo is a hidden omakase restaurant in Tai Kwun. Head chef is Keizo Seki. Only 14 seats available. Lunch is $1500 per head at this moment. Services is really attentive. Really fresh ingredients. And they use some modern way to handle the fish like smoke and pair with black truffle. For me it’s a twist and a bit western style. My favourite of the day is the Sawara which they smoked in front of you! Overall I enjoy the whole dining experience. $1500 including starter x2, sashimi, roll, sushi x 9, hand roll, soup and dessert. I encore one more sushi and found it costs $300. Guess it’s because of the truffle And a good surprise is they will clean and pack the chopsticks for you as a souvenir. Very sweet! My top 3 omakase experience in Hong Kong.
