鐵牛台灣牛肉麵 (尖沙咀)

 Saw this rather new Taiwanese Restaurant and have always wanted to try it out - there seems to be much more newer Taiwanese openings lately after Ar Yuan 阿完來了 was a successful concept !

.- Ordered their 滷肉飯 Lou Ru Fan   as an initial test, before deciding if I should order their Beef Noodles. The pork was stringy and dry, but worse of all? The marinade sauce was totally off and has no spice, sweetness, soy sauce whatsoever. This was so off the chart wrong it's not remotely funny.   The pork also had a strange smell to it..

.- If the food was bad, my Green Tea and Apple Drink was equally disastrous. Reeking of only syrupy sugar note, it had absolutely no Green Tea or Green Apple flavors, the one at Ar Yuan despite not being perfect was a million times better and refreshing. This one was again so wrong just like the rice above, I couldn't take more than 2-3 sips.

Overall - this shop is easily the worst Taiwanese food and drink I have tried in Hong Kong.  I still am incredulous to believe that they actually send these out and sell it off as Taiwanese food.  If anyone can find a worse tasting Taiwanese Restaurant in town,  I would love to know...  I simply can't imagine anything even lower than this level.

鳥華 (銅鑼灣)

濃蝦湯拉麵，可以完全無蝦味的。又是我錯鳥。。ヽ(´o｀； @烏華拉麵

The Prawn Miso Ramen, despite the presence of dried Sakura prawns, has absolutely no prawn crustacean taste. It's purely miso broth and the noodles were slightly overlooked and borderline soft. 5)3 pork chasyu were quite dry.

Took a bite and a few sips of soup to confirm it was pathetic, then paid the bill and left. Absolutely horrible

豚王 (銅鑼灣)

The Queue is so long here.. it extends to another part that is off this screen.

. Condiments. This is very well-done. 好有街頭風味!

.Butao Tonkotsu x Sakura Prawn Ramen - 蝦王
Ordered the soup with everything as normal, out came a sludge ! It was so viscous, the noodles actually stuck together and WITH the soup! I know Kotteri ramen can be thick, but the noodles never get stuck together so you can't even slurp it! The Central store is much better than this..

.Pesto and Parmesan Ramen - 翠王
Basically the same problem, where the soup was so thick and the noodles slightly over-cooked, and everything stuck together. How am I suppose to eat this?

. Eggs -
These are quite eggily good, though not marinated.

.Extra Char Siu -
A little leaner on this occasion. Still prefer the Central store.

Just like 添好運 Tim Ho Wan, every new opening on top of the original store fared a little worse off. But the difference between the Central store and Causeway Bay shop is ginormous! It has put me off trying the Tsim Sha Tsui store for now.

順億鮪魚專賣店 (尖沙咀)

I understanding it is hard to run a business, and a few words from me can be make or break for a shop. However the quality of food I received here was honestly so bad, I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies. Boasting that they sell Blue Fin Tuna from Taiwan (黒鮪), which is the same as 本鮪. I am sorry to say this was some pretty shi...fty tuna quality.

.Negitoro Temaki $15 (Left) & House Temaki $13 (Right) -
- The negitoro fish wasn't at all oily. Can't they scrape me some proper toro from between the bones or from under the fish skin or behind the eye ball or something? Or least mince up some proper toro. 2/5
- The house maki had Takuan pickles, Sesames, Shisos thrown in. At least this was attempting to be interesting. ~ 3/5

. Tuna Toro Combo - $220
Horrendous to see, it promised Otoro pieces on the Menu too. The raw ones on the left have changed colours, and had ABSOLUTELY no fat or tuna taste, except fishiness. The grilled ones weren't toro. The negitoro was overly lean. 即係日本有啲店都會加豬油, 你都加啲咩油都好呀唔該. 0/5

.Grilled Tuna Head Pieces - $65
I have never had meat from a Bluefin Tuna that was so lean and tough. The skin was rough and not crisp. It was also slightly fishy, which is uncommon for Tuna as it is actually aged by Japanese chefs for more flavour. ~ 2/5

.Fish Miso Soup - $8
Thin as water. It had some fish ball and tuna meat thrown in. It is cheap yes, so no complaints. But was so wateryyyy....

TUNA didn't taste like tuna, toros were lean and some changed colours.
Ok - if this shop was even half decent I would have said it's a bargain. But as it is, food were fishy and tasted like I never ate tuna. And it still all added up to be $3XX.

蘭芳園 (尖沙咀)

咁多間蘭芳園, 這間肯定最差勁.
來過好幾次, 吃過撈丁, 豬仔包, 喝過奶茶同冰凍奶茶奶茶 -
This HK milk tea is absolutely terrible. Every single time I drank this or the iced version, it is weak as and totally taste-less.... Out of all the 蘭芳園 outlets, this shop I have actually permanently BLACKLISTED. They cannot even toast their bread right. What an embarrassment to the HK Food Scene, especially knowing how many Mainlanders and Tourists living next door will come past here. 1/5
