I forgot I tried this place ages ago but went here again with some Japanese friends as they said it was their regular place for drinks.At Sowelu, there are two floors, the top floor is the bar area and the lower floor is an out door area.The staff speak Japanese and the menu is in Japanese.From the regular menu, I ordered a cheese board which had a delicious mix of quality cheeses.The cheddar and soft cheeses were the best.The sausage platter was good with drinks.The best thing was the chicken broth ramen which isn't on the regular menu.It was listed on the Japanese menu if you can read Japanese.The chicken broth was really thick, almost like grounded chicken puree in broth form.I am no ramen critic but I really loved it.The Kirin Frozen beer was also fantastic because there are so many flavours!~!!Tomato, cucumber, coconut, grapefruit, rose etc.It is just the perfect beer on a hot day with that frozen icy slush on top.My favourite was the grapefruit, tomato and coconut. 繼續閱讀

這道烤魷魚乾,其特色在於保留其”魷魚膽”一同燒烤,將魷魚略為晾乾拿去燒烤,使魷魚塊本身及其膽囊也一樣還保留著重重的魷魚咸鮮味道,再配搭上這個芝士醬汁,截然不同雙重咸咸的味道層次。當然,單嚐會非常非常重咸味,如果識嘆就來一杯One the rock 黑糖燒酎,可以balance番味道!Nice pairing!Carpaccio以日本帆立貝、煙三文魚、蕃茄粒及特製醬汁製成,入口味道是令人舒暢到幾乎不能自控的清新,同時三文魚的煙燻味道非常突出,也不會過份遮蓋帆立貝的鮮甜味道,特製醬汁.. 味道已跟整道頭盤融和在一起,加上蕃茄粒帶來出奇的清新感覺,口感非常Fresh、味道層次豐富、極具時尚感的日式Fusion頭盤,God Damn It! 如果識玩,叫埋杯Sake仲正 ! 呢個真係5粒星星爆晒分有凸,必點的神之菜式!說到食物的其中一個重點推屆,絕對少不了這個每天限定15份的Sowelu虎徹拉麵。據老闆所解說,這個虎徹拉麵湯底由10款蔬菜熬製而成,小弟先嚐一小口,哇,湯味道不但濃厚,而這種味道更沒有豬骨濃湯的濃膩,鮮甜到一個點!加上有咬口的拉麵條及爽骨肉味濃郁厚切黑豚肉,的確是正的!不過隻溫泉蛋就爭小小未夠水準,有提升空間 但對於拉麵控而言,呢個湯底的確冇得輸!要說炸雞呢實在是千篇一律地OK LA,要製作一道好味的炸雞重點除了醃製醬汁外,掌握”炸”這個部份的火候也決定了層次的高低。這道Sowelu炸雞以自家調配醬汁醃製雞肉一天後才即叫即炸,味道略帶重味道,而重點在於”炸”的時間掌握得非常好,外脆內軟,保留了非常juicy的雞汁!有炸雞,怎少得叫番杯啤啤嘆下?! 這裏的麒麟 Frozen Beer有多款口味選擇,包括柚子、櫻花、熱情果、草莓、黑加倫子、椰子、薄荷、蕃茄等味道,小弟就叫左杯綠茶及薑味Frozen Beer。在冰凍的啤酒上加上以冷凍技術將生啤打成零下5度的幼滑泡沫作為啤酒帽蓋,口感冰凍特別,香港唔係好多間酒吧有得嘆啊!Believe me,綠茶及薑味與麒麟啤味道超夾,沒有半點反差啊!要訴說這家小店值得寫一下的Signature Cocktail,首選應該是這杯使用日本焙茶、冧酒加上新鮮梨子汁調製而成的Hojicha Cooler。所謂的焙茶簡單來說就是以溫火烘焙的日本青綠茶,烘焙的泡茶香氣濃郁,茶味清新甘香。這杯Hojicha Cooler理所當然地呈現清新甘香的日本焙綠茶味道,帶輕輕的茶澀口感,單品相信已算是一杯很不錯的日本茶,而加上冧酒及新鮮梨子汁後非但沒有破壞其茶味,反而更覺甜甜清新的濃郁梨子味道及RUM酒的蔗甜味道從茶味中絲絲透露出來,再加上那2片青檸添加上的青檸清新的酸酸味道,組合成一杯非常清新日本風的茶製Signature Cocktail。我敢拍胸口保證,女士們會很喜歡、很喜歡這杯Sowelu特製的雞尾酒Hojicha Cooler,嘻嘻! 繼續閱讀

I AM STRONGLY SUGGEST EVERYONE NOT GOING TO THIS DINING BAR NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!我強烈建議大家不要去這個餐廳酒吧 ! ! ! ! !1) The poor small portion of food and drinks2) The poor time managment of cooking food and delivery3) The poor presentation skills to guest in a humiliation speech4) The poor product knowledge of menu5) The poor unpresentable smile while guests doing a compliant6) The poor knowledge of their "JAPANESE" dining bar which is an Italian bar was written on Openrice.1)這個小得可憐的食品和飲料2)極之有問題的上菜和等菜時間3)羞辱客人的對答技巧4)極之貧乏的菜單知識5)客人在投訴時報以極之厭惡的微笑6)他們說的“日本”餐廳酒吧 ,竟是Openrice里的"意大利"餐廳酒吧。I walked in with my frds (3 ppl) on sat night, the dining bar has not much seats and well table for dining. We ordered few items (I am not going to say which dishes we have ordered as those are too ordinary, nth special item and style) but every single dishes delivered in 15-20 mins and just warm only.星期六晚我與兩位朋友,餐飲酒吧已經沒有太多座椅和餐枱。我們選了幾道菜(我不說哪幾道菜,因那些都太普通了,和完全沒有特別的食物和風格) ,而且每一道菜都要等15-20分鐘,僅只是暖。We ordered drinks, my frds got a glass of juice and a glass of mocktail, i have no comment with it as i didnt try any. Especially, i ordered soju but the volume hasnt been written on the menu. In my experience, other KOREAN Rest. get used to serve in a glass bottle of soju around 300ml with a empty glass (sth like wisky glass), so as i tried in Korea. But here, they served me a little glass in TEQUILA size only, around 30ml.我們點了飲料,我朋友點了一杯果汁和無酒精雞尾酒一杯,我無可奉告,因為我沒有嘗試。我點了燒酒,酒單上並沒有列明容量。以我的經驗,其他韓國餐廳習慣為一瓶燒酒大概300毫升加上一個空的玻璃杯(像威士忌杯) ,這亦是我在韓國試過的。但在這裡,他們為我上了一個小玻璃杯只有TEQUILA大小,大概30毫升。While we prepared to leave and ask for the bill, they costed us HK$722 and just written on a piece of paper, no description nth. On the other hand, i know how much shall we pay for this bill but should not HK$722, so i asked the waitress for the official bill but the outcome is another written bill by themselves.  Since i calculated the total which is not equal to HK$722, should be HK$577; however they told us there are HK$30 table charge per head (ofcoz there is another 10% service charge). I questioned whats the reason of HK$30 table charge per head and the "GORGEOUS" waitress answered me "It has been written on the menu. Thats normal charge in any Japanese Dining Bar, just make yrself to learn a lesson and explore new things" (Thats what she said to me for real). I tried to calm down myself, paid and leave but after I really cant swallow the insult and went back to complaint.當我們吃完準備離開,並要求該埋單,他們只寫722在一張紙上,沒有說明已點的餐單和飲品 。 (太離譜)另一方面,我們心知應付多少,不應該是港幣722 ,所以我問女服務員正式的收據,但結果是另一張自己寫的落單紙。 (又一個離譜)由於我計算的總不是港幣722 ,應該是港幣577 ,但是他們告訴我們有種收費叫枱費每人30港元( 當然另收10 %的服務費) 。我問什麼是港幣30元枱費還要以每人計算,那位女服務員回答我 “已經在寫菜單上清楚列明。那是日本任何餐飲酒吧的正常收費,就當讓你自己見識樣新事物” (這正正是她怎樣對我說的) 。我試著自己冷靜下來,支付及後離開,但我真的不能忍氣吞聲,回去投訴。  繼續閱讀

朋友想食Light野, 諗起最近新開既日本Style酒吧Sowelu.餐廳唔難揾, 到達後獲安排坐一張角落6人枱, 自成一角.仲有朋友未到, 所以諗住叫啲小食食住等, 叫了炸雞翼及Cheese Platter, 等了很久.... 30分鐘後朋友到達後枱面也未有任何食物. 催了幾次後, 侍應終於給我們小食 (不是應該一早就有的嗎?)總共等了45分鐘後, 炸雞翼終於到了! 炸得十分香口, 黑椒汁十分惹味 (由於太肚餓, 所以冇影相就ko了) Four Cheese Pizza亦十分不錯, 餅底很鬆軟, 不過不似之前的食評有那麼多芝士, 如果再多一點芝士, 應該能更香, 更好吃意粉揀了一個未見過的 (忘記了名字, 是在意粉類中最底的那個), 外貌有點像泰式金邊粉 xD實際是Napolean, 意粉煮得Al Dente, 彈牙有嚼勁, 不過汁有點太酸再三催促後發現一開始叫的Cheese Platter侍應忘記了落單Mozarella及Camembert都不算好, Parmasen總算合格. 不過最不滿意的是Cheese Platter居然没有Cracker?! 是我太孤漏寡聞嗎?當晚仲試了Frozen麒麟啤, 有一層綿密的泡在上面, 一來可以保持啤酒温度, 二來可以防止啤酒跟空氣接觸而氧化, 影響了啤酒的味道. 平心而論, 餐廳食物質素並不差, 侍應服務態度亦不錯, 不過1客小食要等45分鐘實在太過份, 希望餐廳能正視上菜速度問題, 因為當晚只有不夠10名客人... 被上菜速度影響了客人對餐廳的整體觀感實在可惜 繼續閱讀

五月二十二日 (星期三)香港深受日本文化影響,其中一環必數與食有關最流行的,當然要數拉麵幾乎每個地區也可找到不同特色的日本料理是夜與朋友們來到這家位於銅鑼灣的樓上日式酒吧Sowelu酒吧只在樓下放了一個小小的招牌作招徠,短短數月間已吸納了一群同鄉支持酒吧沒有浮誇的裝修,走較西洋格調一推門進入,已有來自日本的侍者作熱情的招呼原來這裡廚師甚至侍者大部份也是來自日本的加上客人大部份也(暫時)是日本人,整個感覺就有如置身當地酒吧有兩層,入口在上層沿著樓梯往下,就是露天位置,頓時令人感到舒適輕鬆還設有兩個大帳篷,非常適合喜歡私人空間的朋友把酒談心聽說不時有客人包場攪活動,除了酒外,餐廳更有大型的燒烤爐侍者先送上餅乾等小吃店方經理更為我們特製了四款不同的飲品由於架架妹不肆酒,就做了一杯健康有益的西芹蘋果汁,非常細心西芹味道非常濃郁,飲落清甜開胃接著送上Cheese Platter,包括五款芝士:Ricotta, Camembert, Cheddar, Mozzarella,Emmental芝士各有特色,質感與味道亦有所分別配上醒胃蕃茄粒,橄欖,魚子醬和餅乾等,毫不單調相信這Cheese Platter定必是大家用來作佐酒的不二之選!明太子意粉是日本甚受歡迎的一款美食,而酒吧更大都有供應此款食品意粉入口非常creamy,明太子份量十分多要讚的,是吃落沒有明太子的腥,反而充滿鮮香不得不讚日本廚師,意粉口感煙韌有至,醬汁做得細膩creamy除了供應小吃和意粉,還有深受香港人歡迎的薄餅是夜就試了這個非常香濃誘人的Four Cheese 白色的餅底,是店方自家製的吃落口感鬆軟,上面的芝士濃郁,不感到太漏滯個人口味,還是不下蘑菇較原汁原味短短的兩小時,足以令我們忘卻工作上的煩惱壓力怪不得吸引那麼多白領前來捧場得知,原來Paco早已是座上客呢! 繼續閱讀
