Saw quite a number of good comments about this restaurant, I'm always searching for authentic Singapore/Malaysian cuisine in Hong Kong, therefore we came here for a try on a Saturday night as a family gathering dinner. The moment we stepped in, the ambiance of the place is promising, I first thought I might have found another fav spot. But when the food came, the good impression just went off..We ordered : Laksa - This was probably the best in taste among the dishes we ordered.Fried carrot cake

We ordered :

Laksa - This was probably the best in taste among the dishes we ordered.
Fried carrot cake - This was incredibly disappointing..the carrot cake itself was just so hard and to me it seems it has been cooked and left aside for too long.
Hainanise Chicken rice - Will give a marginal pass for this, nothing special though.
Fried vermicelli - This was served lukewarm, and extremely salty.
Chicken curry with Roti - The curry was simply bland, it was in fact tasteless !
Kaya Toast - Not even worth a try..Toastbox is just way tooooo much better

Can't really recall the rest of the food..there was just leftover, we did not bother to finish them..

For family of six we paid over $700, price is not a issue, but base on the quality of the food it is just not value for money at all.
Can't understand the hype it was given by other reviewers, you can just find much much better Singapore/Malaysian food from Satay Inn ( 皇家太平酒店)
