There are not many GOOD choices of Chinese 'Dim Sim' Restaurants in Lam Tin.Maxim's Chinese Restaurant was the more reliable one even it is a bit expensive comparing with the others in Lam Tin.It is operating under Maxim's Group It has enjoyed a long reputation as Lam Tin's top dining venue.I would agree in the past. Since last visit in August 2010, I recognised that dim sim , barbacued pork and 'freshly made' dishes were very salty!My sister was so sensitive that she could not take a mouth.I t

I thought that it was an accident so we went to try again for Sunday lunch.
The dim sim standard was still fine but not as good as before. For barbacued pork, freshly made dishes, they were very salty.
I drank a lot of tea.....
I wonder what goes wrong. I refected this to their waitress but the answer was jus t' Oh, really!' ; then she left after we settled the bill.
I do hope that the management should take this comment seriously.
In Maxim's Group's website, it states 'With top quality catering and services, Maxim's Group shall constantly strive to run the best dining venues for Chinese cuisines in Hong Kong.'
I can hardly agree, but for constantly expensive and under-staff , I would agree.
I seldom give 'Crying faces' but it is my second time! It is really upset our family 'dim sim' lunch!
Next Sunday, I will drive to pick my dad and my family to Kowloon Bay to have 'Dim Sim' brunch!
