The quality of soufflé was satisfied but it was totally overshadowed by their ridiculous service and horrible attitude of the waiter! (One of most ridiculous rule I’ve ever heard in HK)! I arrived the cafe around 4pm on working day. It took me 30min waiting outside for table though the waiter informed me it should be quick. It took me another 40min waiting for the soufflé to be served after my order. And for the last 25min waiting time, I was the only customer in the cafe. There are two waitress
I arrived the cafe around 4pm on working day. It took me 30min waiting outside for table though the waiter informed me it should be quick.
It took me another 40min waiting for the soufflé to be served after my order. And for the last 25min waiting time, I was the only customer in the cafe. There are two waitress/cooker in the cafe and I really don’t understand what hold them busy not to make and serve the food for me. Does the soufflé take that long to bake? The answer was NO. I found the customer arrived and ordered just 5min before my food was served almost get their soufflé at the same time as i got mine. I asked the waitress why it keeps so long for my food to be served and the answer was that they will cook 3souffle same batch. Since mine soufflé was the 1st order in the batch, I need wait for other orders. This means my last 25min is not waiting for my food but for other customers to visit before the waitress can cook soufflé. And if the other customers come even later, I probably need wait even longer! During whole waiting period, no one informed me about such situation and their ridiculous waiting rules.
when I check out my bill, I raise my compliant about waiting time to the waiter (who advised me initially that I will get table quickly but it turned out to be 30min). The waiter is suddenly getting super angry and very rude yelling at me: this is my cafe and I made rules. I don’t need to explain to you. If you don’t like, u can just not eat here!
I was totally shocked by his arrogant and bad attitude! Without giving explanation on their ridiculous service standard but yelling client rudely, I can’t believe such service can stand long even for decent food. If I was told earlier that I need to wait for other customers’ orders together to have my food upfront, I won’t even wanna queue or wait for my order.
And what a shame they even have 10% service charge! Charge for their ridiculous service?
Never come again!
