I booked a table on Thursday Night Happy Hour. First thing I liked about this bar / restaurant is they have Heineken on tap 🥳 From the first beer I lost track of the cost of anything we ordered 😂 This is a great sign of enjoyment and trusting the staff from the establishment. The bar manager is very polite, friendly and conscientious towards her customers. We ordered a variety of bar snacks for sharing amongst the 5 of us. We made sure we ordered dishes that were easy to share and not messy to eat. We ordered the: The Deep Fried Snack Platter which consisted of tempura prawns , deep fried sui, mai, deep fried mini prawn cakes and onion rings. It came with tomato sauce and tartare sauce for dipping. The food was crispy and good for snacking, nothing spectacular. The German Sausage Platter consisted a variety of 4 German gourmet sausages with french fries were cooked perfectly, the sausages were juicy and tender, the french fries were crispy. It was as good as any sausage platter I’ve had in Hong Kong. Chicken Wings, they are marinated in prawn paste and tasted salty and the wings had the bottom bone 🦴 removed so they were easier to eat. Grilled Dried Squid, this was crispy, chewy, salty and sweet and went very well with the beers 🍺 Italian Pizza 🍕, sorry I only got a photo of the final slice as it was so enjoyable. The pizza was awesome, it had lots of mozzarella cheese was tasty. You can get 6 slices out of it, say 10 inch size. The food was really good here and there are a wide variety of beers on tap. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. The bar manager was very caring to ensure we rescan the QR code again after 2 hours on the Leave Home Safe App to ensure we didn’t get fined incase the coppers across the road decide to check. 推介美食: Heineken, Mixed German Sausage Platter, Chicken Wings, Grilled Squid, Italian Pizza

This place is like a cafe style restaurant serving Korean fusion style food. The setting arrangement and decorations is like that of a cafe. The menu is very comprehensive, they have Korean style snacks, pizzas, rice & soup meals, burgers, pizzas and fried chicken. We ended up ordering from the snacks selection, the Korean Beef Gimbap ($55) and Fish Cake Soup ($42). The mains we chose the Kimchi Carbonara Pasta ($72), the Honey Garlic Fried Chicken - 6 pieces ($98) and the Kimchi Seafood Tofu Stew ($78). For the pasta and rice dishes they come with beverages and we chose a Hot Lemon Water and an Iced Lemon Tea (+$3 cold). We were given Kimchi side dishes, the Kimchi was cool, refreshing and spicy 🌶. The Kimchi Carbonara Pasta arrived first, it was rich and creamy with a hint of Kimchi flavor, it wasn’t spicy and had bacon, cheese and Kimchi. The spaghetti wasn’t Al Dente, yet it wasn’t overcooked. The Honey Garlic Fried Chicken arrived next, this dish was very surprising, the chicken was perfectly fried and still crispy even after drizzling the Honey Garlic sauce over it, inside the chicken was juicy and tender. The honey garlic sauce was delicious and complimented the fried chicken perfectly. The Fish Cake Soup came and was beautifully presented, we suspect the fish cake and fish balls were probably frozen Korean products you can buy at any supermarket, it was ok nothing special. The Korean Beef Gimbap came next. It was again ok and nothing special, they did provide some sesame oil for dipping to elevate the flavor. The side salad with corn and dressing was fresh and tasty. The Kimchi Seafood Tofu Stew was the last dish to arrive and came with rice. It was packed full of kimchi, mussels, calamari, tofu, imitation crab sticks, shrimps and calms. It was spicy, but the seafood broth didn’t have any seafood flavor. The service is efficient and they topped up our waters when requested and cleared our plates when finished. 推介美食: Kimchi, Kimchi Carbonara Pasta, Honey Garlic Fried Chicken 6 pieces, Kimchi Seafood Tofu Stew

I have been wanting to come to Main Street Deli for several years to try their famous Monster Burger 🍔 I finally got the chance recently and boy I was excited. We preordered the 10 inch 20oz (567 grams) Monster Burger which is enough for 3 to 4 people. When I arrived I was greeted by who was probably the manager, he was very welcoming, friendly and very jolly 😀 We were seated in a booth which was cosy, comfy and semi private. The decor of the restaurant is like an American Diner style. The waiter had noted we had preordered the Monster Burger ($458) and asked us if we needed anymore, but at the same time he also said the Monster Burger was likely enough for the 3 of us. Note the Monster Burger comes with fries and salad. We did order some drinks, a Honey Honey ($75) which contains a mixture of orange juice, lemon juice and ginger beer, a Lime Soda 🥤 ($65) and a Cookies N Cream Monster Shake ($88) which has Oreo Cookies crumbs and whipped cream. We noticed on our table a bowl of coleslaw and gherkins. We were starving and quickly finished them off. The drinks arrived and the Honey Honey was iced cold, it had lots of slush, it was very refreshing and not sweet. The Lime Soda was normal. The Cookies N Cream shake had lots of Oreo crumbs, it wasn’t sweet, but had no whipped cream. We only realized when writing this review on the menu it should have had whipped cream in it and they must have mistakenly forgot it 😏 The Monster Burger 🍔 arrived fairly quickly and they placed it on our table so we could take photos of it first before cutting it up for us. Wow it was piece of art and it was very neatly stacked, and it had to be if you don’t want it falling apart when cutting and eating it. They deliberately leave some free space between the fillings and the edge of the burger so nothing falls out during cutting of the burger. It seems meticulously planned. The burger has avocado 🥑, lettuce 🥬, tomato 🍅, portobello mushroom 🍄, bacon 🥓, fried egg 🍳 onion 🧅, cheese 🧀, gherkin and 567 grams of Angus Beef 🥩. This is all sandwiched between a sesame bun. After the photos, we requested it was cut into 6 pieces for the 3 of us. When I took my first bite the burger was delicious, the bun had been lightly toasted and was buttery and soft inside and crispy on the outside, the bacon was smokey, the fried egg was done so that the yolk would not run, as otherwise it would be quite messy trying to eat the burger, the Angus Beef patty was juicy with that USDA beef flavor. I couldn’t believe how such a big burger could taste that good! Quite simply the best beef, bacon and egg burger I’ve ever had in Hong Kong. It isn’t a gimmick for photos, it is a gourmet burger cooked to exceptional high standards. The sides were a lettuce and tomato salad 🥗 which was fresh with a light dressing, and french fries 🍟 which were hot and crispy and well seasoned. The 3 of us finished all of it and were utterly and completely satisfied. I was even thinking which occasion I would return to have it again. The service is top class, we were well looked after, which is what you can expect when dining in restaurant of a world class international hotel. The dress code is causal, the environment is chilled and relaxing. 推介美食: Gherkins, Coleslaw, 10 inch 20oz Monster Burger Set, Honey Honey, Lime Soda, Cookies N Cream Shake, 10 inch Monster Burger Set

Came here for lunch on a Sunday, the seating is spacious and the cafe has lots of natural light due to its large perimeter windows. The interior is modern, clean and simple. For the main meals we ordered the Braised Beef Ribs Fettuccine ($98), Chicken Avocado Risotto ($88) and a Salmon Eggs Benedict ($78). For the beverages we ordered an Iced Latte ($42), Matcha Latte ($44) and a Black Sesame Latte ($42). The Braised Beef Rib Fettuccine included cherry tomatoes and was topped with sour cream, parsley and salad leaves. The beef was super tender and melted in our mouths. The fettuccine was Al Dente and had great texture, and it was coated with a hint of jus, not a lot of sauce. The Chicken Avocado Risotto was creamy and was topped with shaved parmesan cheese. It had a lovely unique chicken stock and avocado flavor, squeezing in the lemon 🍋 juice made the dish refreshing and fresh. However, the chicken was overcooked and chewy and ruined the dish somewhat 😔 The Salmon Eggs Benedict, the smoked salmon was strong, eggs were poached perfectly to ensure a runny yolk. The Hollandaise sauce was weak and didn’t have any acidity in it. I thought using sourdough bread makes it difficult to eat as it’s so tough compared to the other softer elements on top. An English Muffin is much better in my opinion. The Iced Latte was super strong and ice cold, it was very refreshing and gave me a kick 🦵, the Matcha Latte had a strong green tea flavor and was ice cold and the Black Sesame Latte had a strong sesame flavor. The drinks taste are exactly as described in the menu. The service is friendly, energetic and professional.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday, we arrived at 12 pm and were the first customers. This was good as we got the first pick where to seat, we chose a large table in the corner next to the window. There isn’t a lot of natural light into the restaurant as it’s buried in the middle of Mongkok, and blocked by the street markets outside. We ordered the Smoked Salmon Spaghetti in Spinach Cream Sauce ($72), Mentaiko Spaghetti with Seaweed ($72) and the Mega Cheese Burger with Fries ($118). For the drinks we ordered an Iced Latte ($42) and an Hot Latte ($38). The Smoked Salmon Spaghetti with Spinach Cream also contained onion, mushroom and spinach. The sauce was creamy and there was a generous amount of sauce to ensure all strands of spaghetti were covered in it. The Mentaiko (Fish Roe) Spaghetti in Seaweed also contained shrimp and cheese, however was overly sweet, there was no fish roe flavor and the spaghetti was again overcooked. We guess they use milk powder to make their cream sauce which could be why it is so sweet. The Mega Beef Burger was one of the most neatly stacked burgers 🍔 I’ve ever seen. This makes it much easier to eat. The beef patty is thick and juicy with a nice strong beef flavor. It has cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato. It was a really good burger and surprised 😮 me. The french fries were hot and crispy, that’s all you can ask for. The Iced Coffee was cold and strong and the hot Latte was ok. The cafe seating is spacious, it is clean and the service is solid.
