Godiva Chocolatier (屯門)

My friend highly recommended this ice-cream to us, so she took my kids to go there!!!  

First of all, the apperance of the ice-cream cone was fancy and elegant.  That's what I was expecting from an expensive ice-cream cone!  Before I forget to mention the price, it costs $45.  

Second, once I took it from the Godiva girl, it was a very heavy cone indeed!  not the cone itself was heavy, it was the ice-cream was filled all the way from the bottom.  So, we could enjoy the ice-cream all the way to the end of the cone.  Wow!  Now, this amount of the ice-cream totally worth more than $45.  

Third, the taste was amazingly rich, thick, and creamy.  The dark chocolate favor was just way up to the top (in a good way).  This ice-cream cones definitely sent us to chocolate heaven while we were eating them.   

Now, we can't go back to the $10 ice-cream cone anymore!!!!  

海底撈火鍋(友誼城店) (羅湖國貿)

What a great hot-pot at 海底撈!!!!

First, i have to talk about the excellent service! The restaurant is very well-known in their good services. Every employee smiles and welcomes you. Every time a waiter brought us food, he said, "Enjoy the food!" How nice! Also, they have FREE shoes polish and manicure service. Can you believe that Too bad that I didn't have time to enjoy the manicure but I saw two ladies were enjoying it.

Talk about the food... the food was great. First they have lots of soup-base to choose from. We picked the mushroom soup. Great soup! Very rich mushroom flavor. You know it is so important to have a nice soup-base to start the hot-pot. Then, the thin sliced beef, think sliced lamb, beef balls, minced squid, etc... everything was good and fresh! I especially like the beef balls. The best taste freshly made beef balls ever. Very juicy and with good texture. also, the shrimp paste and squid paste were wonderful. they are soft and moist. i just can't stop eating them. My friend order the cold tofu, which is actually the frozen tofu. It is so different than the fresh tofu. Because the frozen tofu has lots of holes around the tofu, it soaks up lots of soup inside. Very good!

Toward the end, we had a pull-noodles performance. we ordered some freshly pulled noodles. i was so surprised by the nice performance. The noodles master pull the dough and dance at the same time. and then, she put the fresh noodles in the soup for us. the noodles was very soft and had great texture. what a delight!

I strongly recommend this new restaurant.

泰城泰國餐廳 (佐敦)

This restaurant is great. The food is authentic and just really yummy! The service is good too! This is a family-run restaurant and that's why they serve real family style dishes. The best part was that this restaurant is not expensive at all! Reasonable price with good food! I could totally taste the efforts and sincerity that the cook put into each dish!!! This is the best Thai restaurant I have ever been! Thanks for my best friend, Kathy, to take me there!

We ordered the set dinner for 4 people.

1. Green Papaya Salad : This one is kinda spicy even though we asked for little-hot. But.... it is still very good. If the salad is colder, that would be much better. I know that they make their salad freshly by order. That's nice!

2. Thai Style Clams : This is incredible! The clams were fresh. The sauce was so good. I had to put the sauce into my hot rice because it was just so good! Not too spicy so it is for everyone!

3. Thai Style Vegetable Stir-Fried (Uon-Choy) : Very good!

4: The famous Thai Steam Fish : The whole fish is just real fresh and big. The soup was good! Two big thumbs up to it!!!!

5. Pad Thai: Perfect!!!! It is dried in a perfect way! I hate the Pad Thai that has too much sauce in it.

6. Thai appetizer platter (includes: fish cakes, shrimp cakes, egg rolls and chicken wings) : Simply delicious!!!!!

7. (we ordered it separately) Raw Shrimp: Super Fresh! The dipping sauce was the perfect match!!!! Must try!!!!

What a super meal!!!! If you are around Jordon and want to try some Thai food, go there! You will be so happy and satisfied after eating there!

p.s. this place is small but cozy!!!!

安德魯餅店 (路氹城)

When you are in Macau, you just can't miss these Portuguese Tarts. They are the best in Macau because the custard is super creamy and full of egg flavor with the perfect sweetness. Also the tart shell is so crispy. Can't forget to mention golden brown top of the tarts. It is the sugar that got a little burned so it adds a little bit of the smoky flavor to the tarts. $8MOP for one is reasonable and totally worth the price!

譚仔三哥米線 (元朗)

其實真的不想作比較, 但譚仔三哥真係好味好多喎!!!  點了一碗三哥酸辣中辣米線配墨丸, 豆卜, 和豬肝!!!  還有一碟小土匪雞翼, 不過唔記得影相!!!  

首先講個湯底, 味道香濃, 酸辣又配合得天衣無逢!!!! 米線是爽的, very surprised!!!!   米線的粗度比其他地方的幼了少少, 但爽口非常!!!!  又滑!!!  我極之喜歡!!!  配料就與其他米線店的一樣, 沒有甚麼特別!!!  墨丸就比較粉, 有些失望!!!! 不過, 個獨家湯底搭夠, 已經很殺食!!!   土匪雞翼也好味, 味道濃耶!!! 

非常滿足!!!  讚讚讚!!!
