La Petite Maison (中環)

W came here for dinner with the family and we had a very good experience. The food was excellent and on time and the service was very attentive.
Our appetizers were excellent, in particular the burrata and tomatoes.
The cod fish and duck and clams with linguine was also very good.
The desserts were delicate and presentable and the chocolate cake was exceptional.
We had a great evening and will be back!

Amuse Bouche (灣仔)

Came here to eat with a group of friends in a private room that looks onto Hennessy Road. It was a set menu and started off with the appetizer of raw scallops which was pretty good. The soup was ok but a bit on the salty side and the Lobster linguine was actually very good although the claw was a bit raw. The Lamb and beef were succulent and tasty although the lamb was a bit on the raw side too. The customer service was very good and desserts itself was small but enough to fill our stomachs for the evening. We would come back again although the price was relatively high. We were surprised to see that the restaurant was quite empty on the weekend.
The best dish was the lobster linguine so try that!

御進私房菜 (灣仔)

Dinner with a group of friends for dinner and it was very, very good! The appetizer tofu was especially delicious. The pigeon was juicy and piping hot and was excellent. The crab and beef cheeks were also very good. The truffle ice cream at the end was a little too strong and would suggest getting a different type of dessert. Overall a very good experience and will come back!

Wolfgang's Steakhouse Hong Kong (中環)

Came here with a group of friends for dinner and the food wasn't bad. Shrimp cocktail was juicy and portions were decent. Crabcakes were apportioned reasonably and tasted good. the porterhouse was good too though a bit dry. the sundae was probably the best at dessert time - came in a big glass and was a good topping off after dinner.
However the restaurant was nowhere near the standard of New York City or Los Angeles. I mean, this idea of a porterhouse for 2, 3 or 4 just doesn't make sense. Obviously they have pre-cooked pieces of meat beforehand hence the quality of each piece is different. A porterhouse is a porterhouse. it doesn't come in different sizes. This is taking advantage of less knowledgeable customers.
Location of the restaurant is good but don't expect to hear your friends speak because the acoustics are just horrible. Low ceilings and hardwood floors don't help!

Table (上環)

Came here for lunch with some colleagues and ordered the set menu for lunch. Some of us had the burrata cheese as an appetizer and it was without doubt the worst helping I have ever had. It was dry, hard and tasteless. Please see picture taken. The steak was average and the consensus around the table was that it was relatively bland and chewy. The dessert was OK but they ran out of the cheese selection. The sorbet was runny and didn't seem to be frozen properly. The service was good but the food was overall not exciting and as mentioned before bland and not flavorful.
