Concealed on the busy Wyndham street, Cecconi's introduces Italian dishes in fine dining setting.We started with the beef carpaccio ($168), which is beautifully presented and a fresh entree to the meal, along with the the beetroot, radish, shallow and black garlic that add crunchiness and spiciness. One thing that all entree share for sure is the love for freshness.Choice of entree is so much fun! Grilled asparagus served with parmesan and aged balsamic. ($138)The runny poached fried egg was a real surprise to us, delighting the eyes as well as palate.The highlight of this entree definitely lies in the aesthetically pleasing yolk with a contrastingly crunchy top! More starters in the coming posts!Panfried scallop, apple, caper and dark rye ($168) is light while wakening our palate with its refreshing ingredients. I am thinking about my next visit to Cecconi's haha!And best of all, I love the wine the restro recommended!We simply devoured the whole($298). The rice and oats are soft; absorbing the essence of the dish. Roasted to a perfect pink, the lamb was incredibly luscious, tender, with its uniquely strong flavour. Fans of lamb will absolutely adore this main. Trust me on this and give it a try- you might just in love with this all over again.I love the colour of the prawn risotto with preserved lemon and basil ($218) but the risotto itself is not as impressive as the garnish of the dish.Such an energetic and colourful main, with the interesting tiny chickpea garnish. The pan fried sea bass, complemented perfectly with a salad of chickpea, chorizo, avocado and red pepper. The only turn off might possibly be the a bit overly cooked sea bass.For dessert, you’ll love it or hate it; and you might not plug it into dessert category. To me, the balsamic ice-cream surprisingly complemented the layers of strawberries, jam and dried strawberries ($88) ; adding a refreshing punchy sourness to the fruits. Love that they are not trying to appeal patients with traditional cuisine, but instead offering adventurous options.Chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice-cream ($88) is just done so without much lava dashing out of the cake.Pear and rhubarb crumble, custard and lemon curd ice-cream ($88)is a refreshing round up; worth a try!Highly recommend this place, with amazing food and service. 以前開係SOHO區嘅Cecconi's搬到落黎較近蘭桂坊嘅位置, 坐落於一橦商業大廈2樓裡面.  裡面環境寬敞左, 店員多左, 服務隆重左, 仲有....價錢係貴左跟以前menu不一樣, 呢度午餐係供應semi-lunch buffet 或 a-la-carte, 我哋點左semi-lunch buffet, main course 要了Pasta ($168) 及 豬肩肉($198)前菜有南瓜, 藩茄芝士, 沙津菜, 橄欖, 法包, salami, parma ham 等供應. 款色比較少及清淡, 但全部都好新鮮.  呢個Main Course 係慢煮豬肩肉,呢部份沒有肥豬肉,很容易切開亦沒有根, 但肉質有點鞋, 吃到面頭有鹽和胡椒味道, 肉味無乜, 份量亦比較少, 好失望另一個係肉醬意粉, 份量可以, 肉醬味道比較淡, 我覺得藩茄醬可以再多D, 麵條有咬口. 加了$38 order左Tiramisu, 呢個係全餐之中最好味的! 果然係意大利餐廳!!   Tiramisu裡面濕潤剛好, 唔會濕到一pat野咁, 好香咖啡味, 但用$38加了呢個份量, 我覺得細件左D我口癢, 叫左regular coffee ($36), 咖啡太濃了, 落曬成杯奶都仲覺得又濃又澀總括來說:1. 環境真係好過之前好多, 店員亦時不時問下你覺得點, 又會幫你添水.  洗手間又靚靚. 呢個價錢嘅semi-lunch buffet 唔係貴, 灣仔至上環都係呢D range, 2. 但頭盆選擇真的很少, 建議可以加薯仔沙律, 燒茄子, 生果等等會吸引D3.
