I came looking for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was not disappointed. There are several sets to choose from and I went for a slightly heavier one with salad, quiche, and coffee. All the elements were really nice. Salad was fresh and tangy, quiche was hot throughout and very balanced in both texture and taste. Coffee was satisfying too. Western restaurant of this kind does not come cheap. But it is not a crime to treat yourself once in a while!

假期來chill 其實人不算多 但坐底想要個menu都要等一餐 侍應生好似當見唔到 水由頭到尾無倒過一杯俾我哋 等佢来order等咗30分鐘 仲要反覆問咗幾次 可以order嗎 我叫咗一個麥皮一杯咖啡又係等30分鐘 麥皮係倒出來就有嗰種 唔需要沖泡的 30分鐘喔 seriously ?! 朋友叫咗一個炒蛋加培根 講真唔算複雜吧?等了40分鐘 仲來錯 其實慢都算了 唔開心因為見有外國人就即刻有menu同水 遲過我哋但有的食 唔知點解對香港人就可以咁樣怠慢 以後唔會再來

Steak with French Fries($120)肥髀嘅牛扒已經切件,牛扒淋身,牛味濃,仲要無筋,好味道!肥髀清晒!薯條幼身,薯仔味重,加了海鹽,唔點茄汁都好味道!炒蔬菜好多,豆爽脆,紅蘿蔔好甜(連平時唔肯食蘿蔔嘅肥髀都話甜)個餐整體好味,而且份量好大,肥髀都食唔晒!

1 Scoop Ice Cream :無得揀味道,呍呢嗱雪榚有呍呢嗱籽,好滑好香濃!

店員有禮斯文而且好努力,但爆場嘅情況下,啲店員根本應付唔到,個甜品由我叫起之後,足足40分鐘,問咗3個店員都話跟,等到發呆都未到!店長都問咗兩次,佢一臉歉意但都只能問廚房出到未!
1220坐低,1350先走得,已經唔係要好快,逐樣食物出都唔緊要!等甜品嗰下真係想發火,想唔食走就算,等到發呆嘅一餐,食物好味但效率失望!

下大雨,唔想去太遠食晚餐,呢間廣場餐廳未試過,同肥髀撐枱腳試下!去到唔使等位,店員安排坐入口旁嘅二人枱,室內環境簡潔,實木傢私,呢度食西餐配紅酒,可惜我對紅酒一般!店員比低餐牌亦有兒童餐牌比肥髀,不過兩份都係全英文,店員亦係英文人,轉頭佢就過來落單!唔太肚餓,簡單只叫兩個菜!店員會先上麵包!麵包係法包片,好新鮮,外脆內軟!好味!海鮮意粉:隻有魽蝦好搶眼,但其實無乜肉,所以當裝飾品,魷魚圈有8件,好淋唔韌,帶子好厚肉,淋身,好鮮嫩!意粉帶咬口,蕃茄汁唔會好杰,好爽口!唔會膩!煙三文魚沙律:煙三文魚好大塊,啖啖肉,羅馬菜好爽口,沙律汁酸酸地開胃,汁液唔多,剛好掛到上菜身!蕃茄新鮮爽口!好味!食物其實唔貴,只要唔飲酒!呢餐其實好相宜!

下車處為於赤柱廣場 廣場地面全是餐廳左右看了看貌似除了這家全是以輕食為主當天想吃heavy一點就鎖定了這裡餐廳風格很典型 不知道這種風格有沒有統一名稱就是HABITU/ Classified/ Greyhound那些餐廳的風格這種裝修特點是以黑+白+木作配搭給我clean and well organized的感覺本來想坐靠牆的位子 但是靠牆還空着的位子是四人座只有一人的我被侍應安排到另一張二人桌從午市套餐中選了前菜及主菜 沒要甜品怕吃不完上來三片法包與牛油 質素該有的還是有 但未見突出之處前菜是Deli Sampler Starter點的時候看名字根本不知道是什麼但是另外可供選擇的前菜是南瓜湯與洋葱湯這兩個是肯定不想要就點了這個看起來是一道很豐富的前菜 一碟已可品嚐六種食物可是說不上好吃 也許是我不懂欣賞吧 味道太有個性中間兩條長型的東西 尤其右邊那個我是吃不下去 味道尖銳又奇怪左邊的味道似是未煮的肉 但又好像不是 實在難以說清其他的跟我平常吃到的cold cut味道相近但還是有種不對我胃口的感覺然而我不認為前菜質素不佳 大概只是個人口味問題假如什麼都不考慮只以這道主菜來評論這家餐廳

前菜是Deli Sampler Starter
點的時候看名字根本不知道是什麼
但是另外可供選擇的前菜是南瓜湯與洋葱湯
這兩個是肯定不想要就點了這個
看起來是一道很豐富的前菜 一碟已可品嚐六種食物
可是說不上好吃 也許是我不懂欣賞吧 味道太有個性
中間兩條長型的東西 尤其右邊那個我是吃不下去 味道尖銳又奇怪
左邊的味道似是未煮的肉 但又好像不是 實在難以說清
其他的跟我平常吃到的cold cut味道相近
但還是有種不對我胃口的感覺
然而我不認為前菜質素不佳 大概只是個人口味問題

假如什麼都不考慮只以這道主菜來評論這家餐廳
我是一定給予差評
雞肉很粗糙 即使是雞腿的位置也說不上嫩
燒雞不香肉味不出來 汁料淡又稀薄如水 只好邊灑鹽邊吃
水煮蔬菜本來就沒多少味道 當汁料不行它已經失去好吃的可能性
部份烤薯又乾又硬
即使不乾硬的吃起來就是無法把馬鈴薯的味道釋放出來
整道菜丟失了味道 先不說人為額外調配的味道
就是食材本身應有的味道都像被封印起來= =

飯後要了熱檸檬茶 看到這個架勢不禁笑出來
從來沒看過西餐廳的茶壺能比中式茶樓的茶壺還要大
而且這個只是為了一人份量
茶壺內有一個茶包 檸檬只有兩片
但有這麼一大壺茶已足夠我待上幾小時

西餐廳的熱檸檬茶怎麼說都不及茶餐廳好喝
不過它也沒有特別差 就跟一般西餐廳差不多
檸檬茶應該不附小餅乾
但是之前侍應以為我點的是奶茶 所以才放在碟子上吧
後來說清楚他就把奶拿走換上檸檬
多賺了一小片餅乾 哈

價錢跟市區同類餐廳差不多 份量卻有比較多
前菜不對我口味 主菜還不至於很差但比前菜更不想吃
麵包跟飲料則能維持在應有水平
不過看在價錢不算貴 而且不滿意還是能吃下九成
環境可以而且帶免費wifi
此外有一位侍應 年紀比叔要大 但不算很老
應該是本地人 懂英語 態度很友善
不論與客人交談還是打理餐廳的幹勁
都能感到他對這份工作非常有熱誠
種種下來雖然再來的機會不大
但也不至於因為食物的質素要給予劣評

今天是和老婆仔一起放假的日子知道今天天氣不錯一早已經計畫了今天要到蒲台島遊早了點去到赤柱老婆仔還未吃早餐選擇了在這間先吃點東西我們叫了一個72元的Two eggs with bacon兩人分著吃沒想到份量也不少有麵包多士有薯粒又有蕃茄其實我覺得足夠兩人吃但老婆仔實在太餓了我只吃了一點點老婆仔也說不夠吃不過或許是真的太好吃了多士製作得很香很脆而薯粒更是超出預期的好吃那份口感剛剛好不會太軟不會太硬充滿薯味老婆仔也忍不住讚而蛋也是高水準煮得很滑煙肉也煎得與很香這裡氣氛悠閒很有外國的感覺而食物的確很美味讓我們的行程有個愉快的開始不過這裡實在太悠閒了害我們後來趕著去趕船

我們叫了一個72元的Two eggs with bacon
兩人分著吃
沒想到份量也不少
有麵包多士
有薯粒又有蕃茄
其實我覺得足夠兩人吃
但老婆仔實在太餓了
我只吃了一點點
老婆仔也說不夠吃
不過或許是真的太好吃了
多士製作得很香很脆
而薯粒更是超出預期的好吃
那份口感剛剛好
不會太軟不會太硬
充滿薯味
老婆仔也忍不住讚
而蛋也是高水準
煮得很滑
煙肉也煎得與很香
這裡氣氛悠閒
很有外國的感覺
而食物的確很美味
讓我們的行程有個愉快的開始
不過這裡實在太悠閒了
害我們後來趕著去趕船

everyone dies for cheese, and i am just the same. I love making this easy grilled ham and cheese sandwich but i also enjoy having it at some chill out places. it is is a comfort-food classic. the edges of the bread is extra crispy, ham is placed in between cheese and the bread so the juices from ham is hard to escape, cheese are layered on top MELTING, make it extremely savoury, with every bite i take, the warm juices from cheese and ham trickle down my hand, there is defo nothing to complain ab

Went to Stanley for a chilled out afternoon quite a while ago. I just ordered a dessert and a cup of coffee. The environment was great. It wasnt too crowdy, which I loved. Been there for lunch before, but didnt got a chance to try their cakes. I ordered a caramel chocolate tart thingy. The look of it was attractive. I digged in and found it a bit too sweet cause it got tons tons tons of thick caramel sauce in it, although it paired okay with coffee. Service was nice.

 今天剛巧有空, 一人獨遊赤柱, 因為是平日關係, 人流較少, 反而更自由自在, 午膳亦選了心儀的Chez Patrick, 餐廳環境優美, 比一向去開的灣仔分店更開揚, 由於是平日, 餐廳客量不多, 其中亦以外藉人氏為主, 次日我亦選了近門口的位置, 以便吹著海風午膳。Chez Patrick的set lunch 一向分3類, 分別是Daily SpecialHKD98 , Express LunchHKD128及Gourmet LunchHKD238。我選了價值HKD128包括前菜,主菜及飲品的Express Lunch;是日主菜分別有雞胸, 魚柳, 及意粉可選, 由於本身喜歡吃雞的關係二話不說即選了<煎雞胸蘑菇汁配雜菜>(主菜), <紅蘿蔔絲沙律>(前菜)及<咖啡>。先到來的是隨餐附上的法包, 以竹籃盛載份量足夠二人飽餐, 熱辣辣的麵包帶點酸, 再塗上香滑的牛油, 非常美味, 忍不住連吃3大塊!再來是夏日特別推出的冰凍<紅蘿蔔絲沙律>, 整個沙律以紅蘿蔔絲番荽碎為主, 再加上橄欖油,醋及乾蔥醉, 大口大口的吃令人享受

最後來到的是主菜<煎雞胸蘑菇汁配雜菜>, 首先影入眼簾是香脆熱辣辣的薯條, 很明顯是新鮮即炸, 不是翻叮之作, 再來是亁身香煎的雞胸被濃濃的忌廉蘑菇汁包裹, 兩者混合在一起味道一流, 而雞胸旁更有份量充足的雜菜, 整個主菜是我當日最為讚賞!飯後當然少不了一杯即磨咖啡作結, 可惜配咖啡一同上卓的鮮奶是凍的, 如果是溫熱的更佳!

本人去過分別位於灣仔及赤柱的Chez Patrick但無論是味道, 室來陳設及服務也以赤柱分店為佳!亦會再次光顧, 一試其他菜式。

好耐無赤柱,難得班朋友都想到此一遊。去到赤柱廣場,好多餐廳都變曬,最後打算試下廣場地鋪新開的餐廳。呢間餐廳環境好舒服,我哋叫了兩個daily set lunch + menu 上兩款主菜+ 沙律。Order 後有盤麵包+牛油,想話那塊牛油好滑,好好味。另外,兩款我哋覺得最精彩的菜式,首推French pork chop, 上菜時個樣好似牛扒咁,但食落好juicy, 醬汁也好味。另一款是三文魚三食 (煙三文魚,三文魚他他,及三文魚沙律。侍應好禮貌又nice, 叫他們幫手影相都笑容滿臉,不似有些西餐廳的侍應hea 住影。總結,開心舒服之年餐!

Personally, it is not my type of guy to write a review about restaurants but this place amazed me and they deserved to get an applause. I had read the reviews about this restaurants and most of them are bad. I had read the reviews about this restaurants and most of them are bad. I'm just thinking, are we lucky or its just people just sometimes dont look at the point that maybe the restaurant is really busy to look for such a nice fine dine service. Well heres the thing, it's our early celebration for my upcoming birthday so my daughter and I went out for lunch. We went to Stanley and try to dine at the promanade but its to busy and you cant even get a seat. Then we finally get to the plaza/piaza. We saw few restaurants and decided to dine at Chez Patrick. The manager gave us a table right away. Its a bit small but we're happy to get a table in such a busy day. Then the manager gave us the menu and left as hes the one doing the reception also. then suddenly he came back to explain the menu on their big boards. He doesn't speak chinese though but its ok, I understand this is Stanley. Then we order one daily sampler to share and start with. My daughter ordered the pan fried bass with rice and for myself I order the roasted pork loin. Our starter was really nice its a mix of hams, dry sausage, foie gras, and salmons. A very small portion for each for you to try. The seabass for my daughter was really good, taste fresh and the ginger sauce makes it more tasty. My pork loin is ok. A little bit chewy but its fine. We didn't go for any desserts at all so I dont know what to say about their desserts. But all in all the service was absolutely nice. We will be back for more for sure. It's our second time to eat here and I'm very amazed with the new team. The french guy and the other asian guy who wears suits are both nice. The staff made some improvement and changes also. The foods are great specially the onion soup and the quiche lorraine. Chicken forestiere is a bit dry maybe because its made out from chicken breast (ask more sauce when you order this). The duck confit Parmentier is also good its just maybe we didn't read the menu and expecting a real whole duck confit. Fi

It's really tasty and served warm. Cheese cake was ok, its just its not like the new york cheese cake. All in all we are happy specially for the service of the new management.

想遠離繁忙的都市感,赤柱也真是一個好去處,在挺久前在周日去了一趟赤柱,點的是星期日的3道菜brunch, 印象中是前菜跟甜品各一,主菜則從牆上的黑板上選,印象中是兩百多塊的。前菜選了鵝肝醬 (我猜應該是鵝肝,不是鴨肝吧……),喜歡這種偏甜身的醬,沾在麵包上是相當的突出,味道上也相當的對辦,難怪是有口碑的一道。主菜相對之下是不過不失的。甜品選了焦糖布甸,是好吃之選,比平常吃到的是要薄上,但面積要大得多,入口表面的塊塊焦糖很得人歡心,布甸的部分也來得creamy。在赤柱而言,也真不失為用餐的好地方。消費: $250

前菜選了鵝肝醬 (我猜應該是鵝肝,不是鴨肝吧……),喜歡這種偏甜身的醬,沾在麵包上是相當的突出,味道上也相當的對辦,難怪是有口碑的一道。

甜品選了焦糖布甸,是好吃之選,比平常吃到的是要薄上,但面積要大得多,入口表面的塊塊焦糖很得人歡心,布甸的部分也來得creamy。

We came to Stanley for our anniversary dinner and saw this on the 3rd place for Stanley restaurants on openrice so chose here. It rained all day so there were not a lot of customers (guess similar for other restaurants too as there were not many pppl on the street anyway). However, although the restaurant was less than half full, the staff arranged us to sit between two other occupied tables and basically all customers were sitting very close to each other on one side, while the other side of th

However, although the restaurant was less than half full, the staff arranged us to sit between two other occupied tables and basically all customers were sitting very close to each other on one side, while the other side of the restaurant was empty. I do understand restaurants would want to allow flexibility for themselves but when we came at 6-ish, even if there would be thousands of people queuing up, we would have finished our food by then.

Anyway, we wouldn't stay long so we were fine with the seating. Looking at the Menu, it seems there are not a lot of choices. None of the starters/appetitizers is appealing to us so we directly jumped to main.

We ordered baked salmon in white wine sauce and steak with butter sauce.

We confessed that we didn't understand the word that follows salmon on the menu so it might have told us the way the salmon is cooked. But those red/yellow peppers that went with the salmon were not very appealing and MB doesnt take peppers so he didn't like the salmon. The portion was relatively small too but this might not be as bad as a con this time as we didn't really enjoy this dish...

For the steak, we had it medium well done. And perhaps so, it was a bit tough for some parts while other parts were fine. The butter sauce was very nice. Portion was ok. But the side dishes were not ok. The peas were overcooked and became very softened while the fries were very hard (looked like to have been made for long). 

Initially I thought to have dessert there too but given such quality of food, we'd better skip this time...

難得朋友有假,兩個女仔星期一來到赤柱偷閒,希望可以享受一個幽遊自在的午餐。高興的是除了享受到美食外、細心的服務亦令人喜出望外。早在來赤柱時,二人一早己屬到這餐廳午餐。因早上有要事辦,到達赤柱廣場己兩點多。當我們仍在餐廳外眼望望時,恃應彷彿看穿我們心意,踏出門外跟我們說仍可吃到午餐及為我們介紹午餐內容。本身我們選擇了一張靠近門口的用餐,但坐了差不多十五分鐘後便心感不妙。我們二人的腳都成了蚊子的午餐,立刻便請恃應替我們換。我相信很多人都試過在餐廳換,但我喜歡是這餐廳的恃應整過過程都是用親切的(不是公式)笑臉來面對。而在得知我們的原因,其中一名女恃應更送上蚊怕水來給我們用。說到這兒,也許親切的接代、主動替我們拍照和換、為我們送上蚊怕水、這都是作為這些走較高檔路線而又位處旅遊區的西餐廳都是應份的表現。但我喜歡恃應們的細心服務不只於滿足顧客要求而服務的層次。可能我們太晚吃午餐,差不多三四點左右,之前的恃應們都替更了。突然,一位恃應再向我們遞上蚊怕水,說看見我們腳上的戰績,問我們是否需要用上。這便是我覺得最體驗到一間餐廳的服務時刻。可以細心洞察顧客的需要而主動提出服務著實不是每一間餐廳也能

整個用餐除了服務外、甜品可以說是這餐廳最喜出望外的地方。我們揀選的兩個甜品都十分好吃!大小完全不像餐後甜品,我相信完全可作位下午茶的份量,特別我們之後還有餐飲。

Lemon Cheesecake不用硬身的餅面,反而是用上類似Mousse的質地。這很重要,我常不明白既然選擇Lemon Cheesecake,固之然就是想在不太重口味下吃上Cheesecake。如果餅身是硬身像New York Cheesecake,那何必配上Lemon如此Fresh的口味?fresh同light是能互配合的。試問那有人說一件事Fresh得黎重(heavy) 的?
