🇭🇰 Causeway Bay 銅鑼灣｜Day & Night There is a new restaurant opened at Causeway Bay 😊 and I went to give it a try! 😆 They have afternoon tea ☕ and dinner menus, which all look very tempting! 🤩 I ordered: 🥩 Grilled NZ Grass Fed Tenderloin 🥩 The steak is tasty and not too chewy! 👍🏻 It also comes with kimchi and cheese fries, 🍟 and can also be served with either garlic 🧄 or black pepper 🌶️ sauce! I tried the black pepper sauce and it tasted delicious! 😋 🍝 Spaghetti Marinara with Bolognese 🍝 I ordered extra bolognese! had a small pizza with pepperoni and ham. very tasty bread, cheese, sauce. no tabasco available. waiting for saturday to go again. will get veggie or chicken pizza.

The T-bone steak is a true standout, showcasing a perfect balance of tenderness and robust flavor. The expertly seared exterior gives way to a juicy, melt-in-your-mouth interior, delivering a truly indulgent experience. The subtle hints of char and aromatic spices only serve to enhance the natural beefy goodness.

The thin-cut fries are a revelation, achieving a remarkable crispy exterior while maintaining a fluffy, potato-forward interior. The seasoning is spot-on, lending just the right amount of saltiness to complement the natural starchiness of the potatoes.

🐙Black Truffle Takoyaki 真·黑松露章魚燒: Satisfying with the filling. Very flavourful with the black truffle sauce. However, the sauce and the Takoyaki can achieve a better balance. The truffle flavours were a bit too strong and took over the Takoyaki flavours. It would be better if there was less sauce. Interesting to see Takoyaki with different flavours. However, I still prefer Takoyaki in original flavour.

Lunch with Pharmacist, who is partial to SE Asian cuisine, and who has probably been to every single Thai restaurant in Kowloon City. Decided to go for the set lunch. Here’s what we had. Deep-Fried Lemongrass Chicken Wings- expertly fried to a crispy golden brown; with the lemongrass adding a subtle citrusy aroma and flavor. Tom Yum Kung Soup: which seemed to come with a generous amount of shrimp and other seafood. Didn’t try- too spicy for me. Fried Rice with Minced Wagyu Beef, Pineapple, and Shrimp Paste: harmonious fusion of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors. Stir-Fried Beef Noodles (sans Thai Pepper since I couldn’t take spicy). Chef specifically used the Chuck Flap Tail cut (shoulder area) yielding excellent marbling, rich beefy flavor and tender texture. Loved the noodles- chewy light films. Stir-Fried Cabbage with Malay-Style Shrimp Paste: flavors were a bit too strong for me. Had to mix with the rice. Sticky Rice with Mango pieces, mango Ice Cream and cornflakes. Very big portion. Coconut Ice Cream with Brown Sugar, Longan, Peach Gum, and Crispy Shredded Coconut. Drinks: hot Thai Style coffee Lime soda In summary: brilliant Thai culinary experience with quality ingredients.

Bad service with sticky menu and table. Wait too long for the food, even though is not full house. Also can smell the vomit about beer. Really not worth to come.

First time dining in Casa Soohia Loren did not fail to impress. From the refined interior design to the attentive staff , everything exceeded our expectations. Not to mention the food was absolutely spectacular, the pasta was cooked to perfection, the flavours were really well balanced and every bite was a delight. Highly would recommend tasting their seafood options as it is their specialty. Moreover, it was so nice to see one of wan chai’s most prized heritage turn into such an amazing restaurant with a killer view especially from the terrace. I cannot exaggerate the beauty of this place enough! Props to the staff as well, there was not a moment our glasses were empty, they also recommended us accordingly to our preferences, just shows how well trained and professional they are. This will definitely be my go to place to show around to my peers if they are looking for not only good food but also a memorable experience. Furthermore,The seafood dishes were fresh and we could see them work on it through the open kitchen which was another added value to the whole restaurant experience. Not only that, they had a wide selection of drinks , whether that be wine , cocktails or mock tails, that pair exceptionally well with every dish.

Nice food, stunning view. Good variety of pizza selection. It’s a place to enjoy a night with friends at affordable price. Highly recommended. There were 7 of us that night, we ordered some appetisers first, good quality. Then we ordered pizza, the choice of pizza is wide, and they are tasty, together with the stunning view of the top floor of One Peking, this makes the Pizza Bar stands out from other similar concepts in town. We enjoyed the night till 12:00 midnight !

It is not easy to spot the restaurant as it sits right at the corner of a road junction. Even so, queue is there to pick the slides of premade pizza, while the cook/ cashier will bake the ordered slides to reheat for 5 minutes. As the title says, it’s a fast food pizza. Opened at a road junction with no front door, the environment is better than expected, seats are quite comfortable to sit and the place is tidy. Speaking of the food in overall, the crust of the pizza are quite impressive. It is crispy and favored. And to our surprise, three slides of pizza fits for a meal. We did want to try the Nutella pizza as dessert but end up we were too full to order it. The classic Carbonara pizza is my favourite. It maybe a bit too salty for others, but I just like salty favor. The cheese perfectly blend with the meat and the crust to have a great combination when I bit it. Next, the Parma ham pizza was a conventional one. Mixing with arugula and melted cheese, it is a save plate to order and enjoy. Last but not least, the Pepperoni pizza was also good. Not surprising but we did like it. Another plate if you don’t want to take risk for a risky choice.

Got some cheap sandwich and lasagna from here. The sandwich was crab stick and egg salad sandwich, pretty decent for the price. The size of the baked lasagna was similar to an airplane meal: mini and handy. The tomato sauce was pretty sweet, pasta sheets were soft, and there’s a bit of meat in the sauce. There’s some mashed potato and chopped parsley at the top. It was not bad for this price.

There are signature bowls for lazy people like me, or if you like you can pick your toppings and your base and make your own favourite bowl! 🥗ᴘᴏʜ-ᴋᴇʜ ᴛᴜɴᴀ ᴘᴏᴋᴇ ($88+) Onion, seaweed, tobiko, sashimi shoyu. Comes with a fresh and light dressing. 🥗ᴄᴀʟɪꜰᴏʀɴɪᴀ ꜱᴀʟᴍᴏɴ ᴘᴏᴋᴇ ($98+) Cucumber, egg shreds, salmon roe, nutty baby. This comes with a creamy sauce so it is more full bodied. Felt a bit hungry and added more toppings ($10+ each) tofu, edamame and tobiko to my bowls. The bowls are so beautifully presented and beneath filled with all the healthy goodies. Felt very full and super satisfying after this healthy meal 👍🏻

I have always been a dumpling-holic and keen on trying different dumplings. Saw this dumpling chain with the name "Top dumpling on earth" and i just have to give it a try! This restaurant has special flavors like black truffle and white truffle which is very tempting! I have a pan-fried Matsutake dumpling with black truffle and white truffle, it smells so good! Also got some side dishes and noodle to eat along, I like the egg with truffle most. the drinks are home-made and nice. Worth a try!

First experience on Lebanese food here and I thought it might be very heavy but gladly it’s not the case. We tried it for lunch and each set comes with a soup and dessert and you may choose your own salad and main. 🥂Hummus Beiruti It’s chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon, garlic and olive oil. I love this a lot and it went well with the pita bread provided. 🥂Baba Ganoush It’s smoked eggplant so the flavour was much stronger. Again, putting it on pita bread would taste better than having it alone. 🥂Mashawy Mix grill here is a must try and they’re so meaty of course but still keeping it to stay juicy. 🥂Chicken Ouzi The roasted chicken was again very juicy and the choice of smokey Arabic rice here balanced the flavour well. You may add their yoghurt sauce according to your preference. 🥂Mahalabia As for dessert, this tasted like pudding with pistachios on top. It’s such a relief after so much meat. 🥂Vina Collada Rioja Spain A glass of red wine is a delight with all the meat we had. . Overall rating: 7/10
