One of the favorite cuisine I ever been to is an Indian cuisine, I’d developed an special interest for Indian food ever since my time in UK. Indian cuisine is extremely popular in UK and there are many excellent Indian cuisines around London etc. They all are extremely high in standard in terms of food quality, interiors and services. So when I came back to Hong Kong, I’d been always looking for an Indian cuisine which can replicate the high standards of UK’s Indian cuisine. Many people may think Chungking Mansion is a lousy place, but to me, it’s a catering paradise! Especially for someone who loves Indian (Halal) food. One day, I decide to date my dear friends to one of the Indian cuisine in Chungking Mansion because I miss Indian food so much. However I realized a couple of my friend never had Indians before because they can’t eat anything spicy. Of course, for those who understand curry, not every curry are spicy e.g. Korma etc. I managed to persuade them to join our curry night because I believe Indian food is one of the most exciting foods we can find in the world. My friend recommended me to P.M Club, so I decide to have a try. Basically, almost every Indian cuisine in Chungking Mansion is excellent in quality, of course before you get into any cuisine in the Mansion; you have to get through a lot of foreigners who always lurking around at the entrance of Chungking Mansion to persuade people to pay a visit their cuisines. My suggestion is that don’t ignore them because they always serve you some bargains which you will never going to expect before – 20% VIP cards, free drinks etc. The waiters and chefs in P.M Club are very friendly, very passionate; they greet us all the way and recommended anything good from the menu. Remember that a couple of my friends which cannot eat spicy, they recommended lots of suggestions to them as well, so we were very well serviced and accommodated. The cuisine itself is lightly decorated, with a very warm feel of a typical Indian home. Poppadoms are always the starters to any Indian food. I love these poppadoms because it had a sense of pepper taste. The sauces which come with the poppadoms are very nice as well - I especially like the mango chuney. It will built you up for the further ‘challenges’ ahead nicely! Full marks, absolutely no negative. I’ll highly recommend this dish to everybody. In the end, the bill is $839 (including 10% VIP discount) for 7 people. Consider with all the delicious food we had, the services they provided, it’s an absolute bargain. We all enjoy the food, enjoy the services, and simply enjoy the night. When we leave the owner of the cuisine offer all of us a VIP card and a handshake. This sum up how friendly and passionate they are, maybe it’s a part of their culture but for us, we like it very much and defiantly will come again. 推介美食: indian fried rice, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala & naan, mutton naan, mango lassi

I was first aim to host a gathering with friends which I havn't seen for a longgggg time, yet this time I want to organise at some special places. I thought Turkish cuisine wasn't a bad idea as not many of us had Turkish that often. I'd been introduced to Grace - the owner of Trukish Anne - and she invited us to her special den for this gathering. The den was just at the YMT station so it's very convient, despite it's in a private apartment. First get into the restaurant, it's nothing more than a normal home, with just a few Turkish decorations, yet what's amazed us is next to come... Grace, on her own, do all the preparations, cooking and washing up! And the food which we had on this night is absolutly supurb. Another thing about this meal is not very expensive at all! With this quality of food and service (Grace is very talktive and friendly), just under $250 is absolut bargin. Surely I will come again, one of a special place for catering. 題外話/補充資料: Only serve VIPs only! Also the restaurant feature in episode 97 of "home sweet home" (安樂蝸) . Talks about Grace's passion and her superbly decorated den! 推介美食: Roasted Tender Chicken Stuffed with Red Rice in Mersin Style,Dumplings,Kebab

When mention the word "desserts", Haggan-dazs is a MUST go place! There's always a theory that the ice-cream they made it tends to melt much slower, but I yet to confirm that... Anyway the interior is excellent, sofas are comfy and services are fine. The main - ice-creams - is why I'm there for: I've order an vanilla and strawberry ice-cream....it's delicious in terms of the look and taste, despite does it worth $50!? My friend order a 心太軟,really it's taste great! Aside from I feel the chocolate is too thick...and they serve on a hot plate!? I just don't understand.... Overall no wonder it's Haggen-dazs, expensive, but delicious. 推介美食: Ice-creams - whatever favours

I always like to go to places where we can eat and watching sports at the same time. Table 18 fits the bill. Despite it's a Friday, no EPL to broadcast live, nevertheless the restaurant deserve to have a try. Lucky enough me n my fd find a space at the bar table. I realized that the mood and the atmosphere of the restaurant inside is fabulous. There is a significant difference between dining inside and outside near the entrance - what's the point of dinning outside? why not go to the food court on the 2nd floor instead? I mean, the atmosphere of the restaurant do have a psychological effect to the taste, opinions and though for the food that we gonna eat. I was surprise that the bar-tender is absolutely clueless about what is shandy and snake-bite =.=" (of which they don't sell cider, therefore snake-bite is not available...but that doesn't meant the bar-tender not require the knowledge for the drinks and cocktails outside the menu...) In the end I have a pint of Stella instead... The food menu is fairly attractive, lovely design, reminds me of "Fifteen" (the restaurants that owned by Jamie Oliver) and a couple of his cookbook About the food, only thing i can say is - absolutely delicious! Me and my friend ordered 3 items - a starter, pizza and a rice. The starter is OK, however $88 is a touch too expensive...The pizza was fine...the crab was very good, mango also adds a layer of different feel to the pizza, I always feel fruits and pizzas don't match but when eat together it's a different feel, slight disappointment is the base...it's like eating biscuit! I wish they can produce a thicker base next time... The look of the pan baked angus steak rice is different to the one in the menu... probably without the pepper sauce...Despite that, IT IS DELICIOUS!! nothing much can complain about...the steak is nicely done, the taste of the pepper sauce maintained in the mouth for a long time, mushroom fried rice is also very good...$92 i think is worth it! In the end, the bill comes to $427 include 10% s-c. Satisfactory for a fusion meal...that's the type of restaurant that APM lacks in the past! 推介美食: 黑椒汁焗美國安格斯牛小排飯

In the past, I've always wondering the difference between Australian food and British food, despite the obvious difference is that Australia have kangaroos and Britian don't, but usually people believe there's not much difference, this is the thought that I have right until last Happy Friday, where 6 of us are making our very first trip to The Bellbrook and have out first ever Australian meal. 推介美食: Black pork scotch egg,Twisties,Sautéed squid,Kangaroo loin on smoked hay,Meatball Risotto,Orzo risotto,Watermelon salad,Sticky date pudding
